Welp, I'll probably still buy it, but I hope and wish that they keep enough of the original style and flavor for it to still be fun. I wonder if EX Troopers will have more of the original style, and if it'd be online?

Kinda sad the concept art looks way better than the actual game. I appreciate the uploads, they look nice, despite my distaste for LP3.

Yo, I'm not sure if this was posted anywhere, but I'm wondering if there will be some co-op mechanics in the game? I found this pic on Famitsu's site while looking for more news about LP3. It looks like it could be of some co-operation gameplay, but it could also be a cinematic or part of the singleplayer experience (i.e. you see this at some point in the game). I hope that it's part of the multiplayer experience. Even better would be if someone was controlling the Akrid. On the one hand, there's no GUI or anything. On the other hand, while the character on the balcony looks like a "Trooper", the characters laying on the ground look like NEVEC guards (possibly?), while the character shooting on the ground looks like one of those 'NEVEC Water Trooper' guys, with the flippers and extra helmet. Maybe this shows customizable characters too? EDIT: If anyone's wondering, I found it here, where it talks about a special guest playing a character based after herself, or something to that effect.

this is MP where an akrid atakes both teams while they are fighting it was on the lp facebook. capcom does not use the form for info on lp. i thought it would be cool to get akrid hunter back but not this. LP3 is prob going to suck :(

Oh. Yeah, I saw it on the Facebook page. I don't see where they say that the Akrid's fighting both teams, but it's good to see the Akrid in some multiplayer combat. I think an "NPC" team, like the Akrid, is an interesting mechanic - an additional, "non-team". It would shake up the multiplayer a bit. I'm sure Akrid Hunter would also be cool to have, though.
