I hope in three they up the customization, add a horde-like mode. and a forge-world thing, I know its not good to copy but that would be awesome.

Sales are Important, That is true. But what about the Storyline? i got 2 ideas (Hope the mods read it and use it!) A. The ocean of T-ENG you see after killing Over-G Turns into more akrids (7 years later tho) B. New type of Akrids are formed after killing Over-G would be cool

Lp3 would be a great addition to my shooter collection. Not because i am a huge shooter fanatic, but i just like how the game mechanics of the Lost planet series are so unique compared to other games.
Before, the hype of game mechanics, was duck-cover system. Then an unlimted shield supply. Then, customizable weapons an loadout. Lost planet seems to have integrated a majority of previous game mechanics but improved them for the better of the game which i actually like. and above all, the famous Hook-grapple cannot be topped by any game. The grapple distance is enough guys, any longer would just be a snipers galore.
Of course, fans will scream out of fanism for LP3, capcom just needs to rope in more players before they can continue such a franchise. Dont get ur hopes up too high for a future Lp3, but atleast enjoy LP2 in the meantime.
1.Lp is amazing, agreed.
2. anchor does kinda need to have nore range, and a few special abilties too. 3. Capcom is deaf. =(

I'm a little late to the thread, my apologies. It would be a sad day in the video game industry if there was not a third game.... look at all the crap that gets repeated and copied, and consumed endlessly by people. PLEASE...................consider making a Lost Planet 3. My kids LOVE that game and play it every day NONSTOP. They never played the original Lost Planet because they were too young but I know if you made a 3rd, it would take off in sales. It's a GREAT game!!!!

when i first played lost planet 1 i was intrested in the vital suits when the second came out the "make your own load outs" was a great idea if a third is made i have many ideas for it like Akrid evolve and some of them begin to speak and plan strikes against humans and factions still fight thats a good idea do you think? they could even bring back the Akrid vs humans that game mode will get many buyers. also one idea the vs force should be more then one what if more vs could combine all of you that think these ideas are good then let us tell Capcom.
