hell yea.. prob go see it on Sat or Sun. I love all of Tarantino & Rodriguez's Films.. (with the exception of the Spy kids movies)
My fav Tarantino film would prob be Resivoir Dogs, Fav Rodriguez film would prob be from Dusk til Dawn.. and El Mariachi for his Spanish language films..
Sin City was pretty dope too, I really like the way it was filmed.
These two are great cuz they are just a couple guys who really love film, and make movies for guys just like them.. I love how they always pay homage to thier favorites too, like giving Tom Savini a small part. and Micheal Biehn ! classic 80's action star !.. both these films should be fun.

I know it'll sound weak but my fav tarantino film is still Pulp Fiction, with it's non linear storytelling and it's well written script to it's quirky camera angles it's just a great film and always worth quoting, that and Big Lebowski (for quotes as it's niether a Tarantino nor a Rodriguez film) Rodriguez used to be my favorite Mexican Director but he's been replaced by Guilermo Del Toro, right after I saw Cronos, been following him ever since.

Yea I like that about Tarantinos films (the non linear story telling).. Have you ever seen True Romance?.. he didnt direct it, but he wrote it. Def worth seeing.
Del Toro is a great a director, hes so versatile, he does both Drama and Action well. Its nice that hes finally getting some mainstream recognition.

Yeah True Romance was pretty good, has a lowal fan base as well. I didn't know he wrote it, may have to go back and see it once again just for that
And I agree I love that Del Torro has gotten alot more attention lately, I was hoping Pans labryinth would have had an oscar nod for director, but was glad to see Scorsesee (think i spelled that wrong) win finally though he should have got it for Goodfella's by far a better film especially in terms of mood. Don't get me wrong Departed was great, an idea i had toyed around with in my head for a story for quite some time, plus it had a song in it by one of my fav bands Dropkick Murphys, a boston band, so it had real boston flavor:cool:

yup I agree, the departed was good, but Goodfellas is a Classic!... also I didnt realize this till after I saw the departed, but its apparently a remake of an old Hong Kong Cinema series called "Internal Affairs" staring Andy Lau (pretty good HK actor)... I might have to go check out the original

Yeah i noticed that as well was going to look for it soon, just watched the seven samurai a couple of days ago, what a classic, will have to put that in my collection soon, the only thing was the whole time i was watching it I kept wanting to have a game like that, maybe something set in ealry japanese history with samurai clans (run by in game clans) and ronin for hire, not sure of a story but could definately see a game there, maybe work your way up from student to master then command a squad in battle for territoy/honor
