Mum's the word when anything can be misconstrued as racism, sexism, etc.-isms. I was wondering why no one complained about Dead Rising's story being nothing more than a silly condemnation of the meat-eating habits of mall-going suburban America. ;)
Actually, in this situation, I'd say the one waving the Politically Correct card is the one at fault since we know next to nothing as to the premise of the actual game. When I see someone, I see a person, regardless of color, but those claiming racism see nothing but the skin and throw their soapboxes on top of that assumption.

should we suffer by having every game take place in North America (or restricted to places with only multicultural populace) or complete fantasy worlds.

Just tried Marathon. At first I was skeptical about the IGN claim for motion sickness but I have to admit, they were right. Personally, it's hard to play this without exhausting my eyes. Too bad though, looked like it would've been a better buy than, say, something like Doom.

hmm..there are very few games that I have this problem with. I don't have it with this one, though. It just gets a little confusing in MP because some people lag and jump all over the place.
Anyway, what's that anime list thing you have there, hulot?

So if you want, Hippie said he'd help us out again if we wanna play again this weekend. But none of us got the achievement. I think all of us hit "A" to activate a switch before we realized we should have punched it. Doh! But now we have a good idea what it's like.
That was awesome and so much fun though last night! Just like the old days, but better. :D
Oh, and I reminded him about getting the sounds in MP3 format so I can make some ringers for us of the scream from getting burned alive with the TOZT-7. :cool:

Say it isnt so a Bungie game with people that LAG..Oh no now i will never be able to play Halo3....:D oh wait i wasn't going to in the first place. i will let you guys get it and tell me for sure if it has online coop before i even consider renting it....

Actually it doesn't lag. There just happened to be a game with one guy with a crappy connection. You can see it in a meter by their name. Either Green(Good) Yellow(Moderate) or Red(Bad) and his was Red. So the whole game his voice was lagging etc. But last night there was little to no lag besides that match.
I think that's because the game is not true 3D, it's just sprites with minimal animations.

Lag or not lag, it's all due to the data exchange system. In Call of Duty 3 there is no matter do you lag or not, if the person on your tv is hit - he's dead. Here, data of every single shot have to be sent to host and analyzed. It does suck, in addition respawning is retarded. WHAT A WASTE OF POTENTIAL;/
