to me.. the 360 and PS3 is like a Vette and Skyline GTR... pure performance. the Wii is like a Civic Hybrid (not a bad thing) but appeals to broader rangeof people.

Yea, that's exactly what it's like. You know, I think I may just end up with an Elite verses the PS3. Tonight after Sony's presentation I'll decide for sure, but the Elite is just more appealing to me. There is only one thing I wish the Elite had though; a built in HD DVD player. I'll end up buying the add on, and Mrs Snow plans on buying this for me as her wedding gift to me. I think if I can round up enough cash I may just trade in my old xbox towards an Elite, and finally get HDMI support. Plus a digital sound system(I only have a Prologic II input on my system now).

I love the Wii, it's got it's charm. But the 360 is just more suited for me as a hardcore gamer. For the Wii, there are like three games out for the hardcore gamers, the rest is all too shallow when it comes to in-game depth. It's fun, but most of the games have a short lived appeal to them.

I thought Microsoft's was the worst: Lame. I mean, come on, Scene It? Cracka puh-lease. Although the new Keypad is a must have for me. The footage for a few of the games was nice. But the only thing I'm extremely excited about that was new news, is the fact that Marathon 2: Durandal is finally making it's way to XBLA. That game was my first shooter. It set the standards for all shooters after it. I can't wait for the release.

Sony's was next in my list. Many of those games I had no clue what they were, but that last trailer... Dang that looked sweet. I mean that was in game footage!?! Sweet mama! Their presentation was much more organized in my opinion than Microsoft's. The new capabilities of the PSP to the PS3 look cool too. Plus the new slimmer PSP. I was cracking up when Chewie came on stage! I want that Darth Vader edition PSP man, it looks nice! If anything, I was more excited about the PSP news verses the actual PS3 stuff.

Nintendo's was the best. Basically because I, as a hardcore gamer, see little replay value in thier console(mostly for lack of in-depth games and lack of online capabilities), and this conference gave me hope for thier system. First off, the Wii Zapper; Finally! I've been wanting an accessory like that. Can't wait to play Umbrella Chronicles with that. Smash Bros dated December 3! Heck yes! New Mario Kart with 18 player online and new Wii-Wheel accessory. Medal of Honor with 32 player online. Metroid Prime 3 new footage and newly announced gameplay features. New Check Mii Out channel. Wii Fit for Mrs Snow. Super Mario Galaxy in November. All in all their show impressed me the most. More things from their show went on my list of things to get than Microsoft's and Sony's put together.

Even though the 360 remains my favorite, the Wii is on equal grounds once I get a few of the announced games and items. Very cool. I'm still unsure about spending money on any Sony products yet. Mostly because I just don't have the money to buy a new system and get into the games of a completely different platform. It's easier to buy new things once you already own a console. Hence the reason I'm semi-partial to the 360 and Wii.

Not the best E3 ever, but some great news none-the-less. :)
