to start off, does anyone have the lost planet guide? i wanna get it, but is it really worth it? i am skimpy whimpy when it comes to opening my skinny wallet. how much is the guide anyways?

HEY!!! i cant use those at work... but i am allowed to surf the interwebs. :p so this is my idea... and i suppose if Brian or Sven or any other moderator doesnt like it, they'll delete it and then gum grenade my face :eek: and i'll just live clogging up the official blog contest thread forever :D

i used the online guide but my kid read teh guide at walmart and he wanted it but i dont know if i want ot pay $20 for a book. all those words kinda scare me, i am more of a picture person myself

and you know, i think i will buy the guide tonight. it might help a bit. i printed out Brians guide and that help in online play, so maybe a fancy guide will too :D

i know there is link some where on here that goes to a japanese site that has most of the TM locations with pictures and then the online guide at...somwhere i dont remember.....i use those cause i am a cheap bastard

yea brian posted the TM locations link. that would help me alot, but i dont have a computer next to my 360 so it doesnt really help. when i need it tho i will just use my crappy nWeb to find where a certain marker is on the japanese site.

Actually, the guide is about $17.99 I think. Some people like to round their numbers, though. :)
Yes, you know I have my computer sitting right next to my gaming TV so if I'm stumped I can just look it up and be like "oh!".
Yeah, you are a cheap bastard, chaser. :D I've been finding all the TMs on Easy on my own but I don't think i'm gonna mess around when it comes to Hard or Extreme. Extreme is hard enough on its own, let alone trying to find the TMs while completing it. :(
Sorry, Nubbin. I was kidding. I know they usually don't let people use those programs at work, but we're basically doing what those were designed for so I thought I'd say it just for the hell of it.
And I think the gum grenade thing is getting old. We've played it out too much.

As for the guide Nubbin it sucks. The only good thing for it is the target marks other than that its pointless, it has no online maps with the layouts or techniques, and is just utterly pointless. Save the $17 bucks and put it towards another game reserve like Halo. As for that just trying to help you save, and for anyone else who reads this I'll be on tonight so send me a FR if you want to play some player matches, or even go into ranked after awhile of having fun. I'll be on at 7:30p.m EST send up a FR.
