Haha.  Here chaser, I will help a little.

The text string is obviously a cipher of some sort.  While it looks like a playfair type, the double B at the fifth position is not allowed, meaning that it must be something else.  We have been trying some keywords using the Caeser cipher method, but have had no luck thus far.

Some information that may be connected:

[*]The Jan16 post on the blog contains obvious 1337 speak.  There was a dilerbate change in the text a few weeks ago when the numbers in the title changed from 0033242 to 0033202 (in that order).
[*]The title of the Feb12 blog sounds strange, meaning that it could be an anagram, but it could also just be a straight-forward hint.
[*]On Feb13, a comment was added on the site linked by the "Science Link o' the Day".  It has some info related to the topic of the site (to not spam their board), but it is said to be from "Alfred Alan, Joe, Montana".  There is no "Joe, Montana", but that is the name of a quarterback for the 49ers about a decade ago.  San Fran reference anyone?  There was a city in Montana that changed its name to Joe for one day to honor the player.  Cities name was Ismay; total of around 26 people. This may still be confusing, but I can't say everything about everything.  That would take me hours of writing, and I am lazy.

Otherwise, we have had not much luck in cracking this one yet.  I have went through close to 60 sticky notes.  I can't see my desk anymore.  Can't complain; it covers up those coffee stains.
