Unfortuntanely I don't have a 360 controller. Guess I'll give the ps3 controller a try.

i alrdy tried the ps3 controller. first you have to download a hack so it works on windows. then it works fine ingame but the buttons don't match up to wat u want them to be. i think like one of the d pad buttons was shoot and idk. all that worked right was the sticks and u can't change the config file to get it right. the only hope for using a ps3 controller is by getting a macro program to make it so whenever you press those buttons on the controller it will equal the keyboard equivalent of that button. i found a program a long time ago that did this but it cost money or you could try a 30 day trial. forget the name of it tho.

I see. I guess I'll just have to keep an eye out for a good deal on 360 controllers. Thanks

ya i tried it with a 360 controller it is nice but when i sold my 360 i switched to keyboard and mouse. and personally i liked the keyboard and mouse better on the pc version. 360 version is a little different and on that id defintly prefer the controller but for pc they made it so a mouse and keyboard works best.

Doesn't work at all with my microsoft pc controller. Had that buggy issue with saints row 4 though. The controls were all screwed  up while using my controller. Lost planet wont even recgonize it. -_-

There must be something wrong with your PC. Lost Planet is designed to be played using xbox controller. I prefer mouse/keyboard but no problems with joypad anytime i plug it in.

I used a 360 game pad and I went nuts trying to aim and all ,too.q-_-p
Am I posting in an official capcom support forum here or am I just wasting my time in some kidgamerz board? where is the official capcom support?

That botched microsoft update forced on users is known to RS Gold cause a lot of crashes in many games unsing dx10 (google it if you need evidence), including capcom's Lost Planet and RE5, but also a lot of non capcom dx10 games, could be one of the reasons why the video game industry has largely stopped using MS rubbish
