Hmm I tried that initially but it didn't work.. :(

Are you running the demo or full version?

I tried that on the full version running Vista if it makes any difference..

grrr this is the last bump

Such a simple issue should be easy to fix, heck there is probably a reg key somewhere that can be changed to get this issue resolved.

If changing the config.ini file works on the demo then why doesn't it work in the retail version?

This one little bug is ruining the experience

Doesn't work for me...I can get the Y-axis to map right, but X-axis is unresponsive.

Also, my buttons are all messed up.  I can't get them to map correctly...I'm using a ps2 to usb adapter.

This is ridiculous.

It shouldn't be this hard, at all.

There needs to be a custom configuration menu.

Come on Capcom...step it up.  First RE4, and now this.

I am also having this problem.

I have the full version of the game, and this problem is really getting me mad.

The controls for this game are very poor. First the mouse lags and almost prevents me from playing with it, then I try to play with my nYko AIRFLO controller, and the right analog stick is bound backwards.
When the stick is moved horizontally, the aim moves vertically, and visa versa.

I've actually tried playing like that for about 5 minutes, and its just completely impossible to get used to.

I'm very computer savvy. I tried to edit the config.ini file every way possible, but it just does not work.

The only immediate solution I can think of would be to take apart my controller, and rotate the analog stick 90 degrees and put it back together, but I'm not going to do that just for this game.

What about getting a joystick to run with it? Say setting it up as:

X- Turn Left/Right
Y- Move Forward/Backward
Z- Strafe Left/Right

Then using the POV Hat in an inverted mode. Anyone know if it will work with a joystick? If I had that running I could really own over controllers.

I just received several Nyko Air Flo Ex USB controllers from a recent woot.com sale, and am having the same problem as others.

The right analogue stick is mapped incorrectly, and editing the config.ini doesn't change anything (including button assignments).
