I'm glad we all paid 40 bucks to beta test a game.  Thanks Capcom.  Great job.

By the way, I'm not trying to bust your balls Sven. I'm sure you aren't in charge of the development of this game. Regardless however, there are a lot of ticked off customers who have already paid full price for this software that isn't functioning as advertised.

I have finally got my multiplayer working. It seems that what the guy said ealier about fiddling with network settings is kinda similar to how i fixed my problem. I have hamachi installed and was playing tiberium wars with a friend when he told me to make sure the hamachi network is disabled or the lan wont work. So I disabled it and now lost planet works too. This may be a a problem with hamachi or a problem with the game detecting multiple networks but it is worth looking into as it may solve your problem. If you have more than one network enabled try disabling all networks apart from the one providing your access to the internet. Let me know if this helps anyone.

Still makes no difference, we shouldn't have to fiddle with settings, it should be install, run, play. but no....it's not, it's install (14 hours) run (menu was fine) play....(with what a lagging horribly bad/not workin mp and a non-working sp) -clears my throat- I agree with Idol, I'm going to write a BBB report if this isn't fixed...reguardless...and if there is a recall those of us who were suckered into beta testing for 50 bucks get an ACTUAL working copy free of charge.

In reality, the environment is very close with XBOX 360. They are both, in essence, computer systems. One just runs a more bloated OS, so the system requirements are more demanding in order to maintain performance when going cross-platform. That is to be expected. There is nothing wrong with our systems.

The netcode is obviously garbage, probably originally ripped from the 360 version and modded slightly. I'm not trying to play this game on an XBOX, I bought it for my PC.

This could all have been avoided if they just actually tested this game prior to release, wherein all of these bugs could have been quashed long before the game got into the hands of the consumer.

Thus, Capcom has knowingly and intentionally sold a faulty product to all of us. And I want my money back. And TBH I think they should recall this game until is working PROPERLY "out-of-the-box".

Not really, PC is PC , 360 is 360. 360 is design for those people who don't want to take too much time tuning their machines. All you have to do is plugging network, insert dvd then have fun on the internet. But for PC users, you should know what you have, and if you have some problems, try to solve it by yourself.
Besides, in this game, who provides the mp service for 360? Xbox live is. And for pc version, it's steam.
If you say pc mp can't work, why some people here have the experience on mp, even me?  Some guys had 40 up levels already, that's what i 've seen.

Solve them ourselves? There shouldn't be problems like this in the first place, thats what beta testing is for, work the majority of the bugs out before putting said product into rotation around the world...do car companies put vehicles onto the roads without testing safety standards? Can you imagine that happening....so why should it be different for pc softwares/games. It shouldn't thats why, customers are still buying the product in hopes to be getting a reliable item, then to have to go around and do this that and the other thing to get it to work. Well shoot, I'd hate to see if you had to strip a motor down before using a car....

i really don't know what your point is. Same product, and you can't play mp, why? i just give you what method i used to enjoy the mp, and i hope it can work on your system, too. If you don't have routers, try to buy one and disable firewall function, if you don't want to and still can't play mp, maybe try my method. Come on, this is PC not 360, you can't imagine insert dvd then install then have fun on internet, there maybe some problem you may encounter, right? And i think there are many guys have experienced mp, if you can't, try to ask your friends maybe they know how to and show you face to face. i don't think keep complainting will solve this problem, and even do so, Capcom staff still can't sent a guy to your place to see what's wrong on your pc.
Finally, i have a question for you, in your country, isn't there any community discussing this PC game? People in Taiwan try 巴哈,and i am glad people who bought this game in Taiwan don't have mp problem there, if they try to discuss in 巴哈.

Well it's funny I have more then this game on Steam and they worked first off, so I mean it can't be anything wrong with my router, plus I tried what you said to try. Well I can get into mp but it is totally lagged....

Well my point is that every game I have on my pc didn't need anything done with it to get it to work. Log in and play. But fun I don't see Admin under your name....you a stealth Capcom worker? lol....
