Well, I currently am still working on getting a job. So I have plenty of time.

I don't want to penalize people for being lucky enough to get it a few days early (I picked up GoW on that Tuesday after work when they got their shipment in, when it wasn't even supposed to be sold till a day or two later - so I know what it's like). But I want it to be as fair as possible for everyone.

The main point of the starting time/date is to prevent people who have had the game for while now from having an unfair advantage. If they had already played 100 ranked matches online 3 days before the game is even out, that's no good. But if you happen to get the game on Thursday, and I know you're all dying to take it home, just go online and get some Ranked matches under your belt. It'll take a while to get to 100 matches anyway. So you'll be safe as long as the story mode Missions (or the 4 medal types - Grand Slam) aren't completed before the start date.
