I used to play all the time (lost planet is my fav online game), but every room starts with rocket launchers or snipers. I find this to be boring and lame. No point in having a rifle if EVERYONE has one, and rocket launchers default just screams fratboy nonsense. Seems like only the japanese still play it pure so when I can I usually just play in their rooms.

It's not that bad at the moment anyway, this game is one of the few best games i've played online (MP) that i really love ( Add Monster hunter for the x-box hahaha! And capcom rules): - Team elimination - VS annihilator - My favorite is "Akrid Hunting" of course! (^^)

The online is surprising active considering other games that came out sooner already have a dead online community. I never had much of a problem finding a match as everyone from around the world seems to be playing. And Akrid hunting is fun! I thought that Team Elimination starting with rockets would be fun. It wasn't. But I don't see too many of those.

it has gone down lately and filling up the rooms to 16 players is getting harder and harder. >.< modern warfare dint do good for this game.

I have been playing for almost a week now, and I have never NOT seen a game. My guess is he isn't doing it right. When i first installed the game, i did it through Steam like i did with Lost Planet:extreme. I was mad that i couldn't find any online matches...... until i read the directions Make sure you sign up for Games for Windows LIVE. If anyone is still looking for games, there are a few groups of people that get together nightly and have private games. Tight-knit community full of laughs. Playing with people who can make you laugh while getting your butt handed to you, helps lol Add me if you want in.. SmokeyinFL

Hi there, i had buyed lost planet colonies for pc recently (via steam) and i'm getting the same problems as the user who created this post, i don't find games online.
so here am i, asking you people, and i hope you have the answer to fix this. Thanks and good day salegan

Colonies doesn`t run on STEAM , it runs on Games for Windows Live. Original Lost Planet PC runs on STEAM, and it can be hard to find games there. But with a little bit of patience you will. Colonies PC has much more users now, than Original Lost Planet PC.

My copy of Lost Planet Colonies is from steam,but that doesn't mean that it isn't using GFWLive. I just sayed that i got that copy from steam (i don't know if i am saying it right, my native language is not english). And i am asking for help beacouse i can't find games online -- live. Sorry if it wasn't clear enough Good day
