the lost planet: extreme condition colonies edition online is dead??? My original fear for online with this game was that i wouldn't be able to host games like other people, but i didn't have to worry about that. I didn't have to worry about that because THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ONE PLAYING ONLINE!!! i knew that colonies edition can't play with the original but this is ridiculous. I originally had trouble getting the game to load, it just stayed in the windows screen for a few days, then i got it to work, but had trouble getting my games for windows live gamertag, downloading the updates, and connecting to the internet servers. Then i thought i fixed all that, because i can choose to play online and search/host games. Is there something wrong with my computer or interenet still, or is the online community for that version of the game really dead, because it really was a letdown to not see a single person there. It doesn't even show a list when i search for games and i hosted and waited 45 mins and no one came. I think, if its not dead, my internet isn't compatible or my disc is defective, but I don't know, it seems dead to me. Please tell me if its really dead or if i just went at a slow time, and if its not dead, what time people are playing or how to fix the problem. Thanks in advance -Bob

seems odd that absolutely no one is on but i guess it is possible. if you are not searching on xbox/windows live and just searching for other computer players then yes you will find no one. no one has ever been on that even when the game was released. maybe find a time when you can log on with another player and if you can't find them then maybe theres a problem. but the pc version of extreme condition is dead and i hear most 360 players have gone back to extreme condition which doesn't allow you to play with pc players.

This was months ago. This person probably received the answer that he was looking for and Colonies is still active.

its not dead, but if your a fan of elimination, then yeah its dead. Most people are playing team elimination (which I can live with) and akrid battles, it is the most boring gameplay capcom has put. Don't even play it cause akrid always loses unless your team is retarded.

There are still a lot of players. Especially Japanese People. But maybe u play at diffirent times during the day.? There are still hardcore lostplanet players playing everyday.. Just wait when a match pops up and Join. When the match is over, the host will start a new one and so on.. Just get on the TRAIN ;D
