Well this thread was bound to happen, looks like I'm late to the party. I'm a girl, and I much prefer to play as my own gender (in fact I don't buy games that don't have playable females.) As for men playing as women, it will always happen, there are various reasons, the main one in this game being the clothing, you can try to deny it, but bottom line is, the women are purposefully revealing in this game, and this was used as a tool to attract people into buying it. And when you have naked women, you have the attention of the boys. In a perfect world (kinda, idk) men would play as men and women would play as women, but we are given the choice, personally, I don't want to look at a male butt made of polygons, no matter how "sexy" an illusion it is, it's not real. As for the "they are smaller" argument, the hitboxes are the same (correct me if im wrong) so try again. It would have been a better option to have a male and female option for each faction, rather than a whole female faction, I agree. Although it would be refreshing to not be grouped in with the horny teens in faction matches, boys will be boys, and in this case, that means boys will be girls...

what is everyones obssesion with the femme faction...its all you see in campaign and faction matches. i personally think they dont even belong in the game, so my question is...do you guys use them all the time because you like looking at computerized womens bodies or just because your on the bandwagon?
women is on his most hated list and he would rather look at men all day. whenever someone creates a post like this and complains.... it raises the question whether he's gay or not. i bet around his friend.... he's the only one out of the group that doesn't fit in. dude no one is complaining except for you and the rest of the minorities. real men don't complain when it comes to something that appeals to the eyes. if you're sick of seeing all these players using female characters... tell them that youre uncomfortable looking at it lol. how do you know what gender the gamer is ? i did come across girls playing this game. they talked through the mic that's how i knew it's a girl but their username looks like some guys name. of course their character they chose was a feme faction. we have like some girls in this forum asking for more costumes for the feme faction. You are sexist just admit it. there's no point on creating this post , but to bash on people who uses the feme faction.

I dunno, I can't agree with the idea that boys will only play as boys, and girls wil only play as girls. Perverts are perverts no matter what they look like for one thing. :P
If a guy might wanna get in touch with his feminine side, or is a woman trapped in a man's body, are just more interested in looking at a woman for hours on end, or something, they should have the right to as much as women can have the option to play a guy. That's said with the fact that there is an option to be either gender in this game mind you. This doesn't work when there's no gender option. <.<

While I'm not a female, nor would I ever like to become one, I will say one thing about the FF faction in this game.
Which would you rather look at all day - A shirtless man with tattoos covering 1/4 of the visible flesh, or a woman with "features" that could pass off as legit day-pr0n?
For most perverted male gamers, myself included, I think it's obvious.
Thats pretty much the reason I usually use fem characters if I can. I'd just rather stare at the representation of a woman. Even in MGO where there was little to NO fan service, I still used a fem character 98 percent of the time.
Blastaar I agree with you. I use female characters whenever I can. I would rather stare at something I like than play with something I don't. And for some reason I think it increases my performance.

One reason is now a Girl playing the game doesn't have to shoot all the target marks in the campaign to get a girl character. Another reason is its eye candy for pervs and teenage boys playing the game... Sells more copies =)
