Great to hear the good news! And good news for you too: you can copy your LP2 data to a new system by simply using a USB-stick and not the whole back-up system the PS3 has for copy-protected data.

The 24th seems a reasonable date IMO, but it's ok if we don't make it, knowing what you have to go through now.

Let me know whenever you got everything set up and ready, I'd even miss out on a world championship soccer match to get things done. (Now that's putting priorities, isn't it)

I will just be missing out on the WC sucker stuff, because I don't really like it, my country gave it a god status and messed everything that has to do with it up. We have world champions in other sports who have to pay everything from their own wallets, and yet our national sucker team can't even get qualified for the WC and those players deserve miljons a year. Sorry, had to get that out of my stumach.

Nonetheless, I'll be ready too if it's at a reasonable hour.

out of intest what is your country if their not in the world cup? also is called football because you use a ball with your feet. not like american football where you play with your hands :P

I live in Belgium, you know the sh**hole without a government and the President of the EU (I believe it's the European Union at least).

I simply refuse to call the sport by it's obvious name, because over here it almost has nothing to do with feet and balls, but more with people that drop down to the ground, roll over and start whining to the Ref that the other guy touched him while the only thing he could have felt was the breeze of the guy passing by with 1 meter space in between them. I would call it soccer at most, but sucker actually describes the situation better.

Now Football (American & Australian, and others like it), that's a real sport. You get hit, you stand back up, wait for the right time and hit the guy back twice as hard. They should've however found a way to put the hands part in the name too if they were going to mention the feet. We could just call it 'Ball'.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against soccer the way it's played in say Brazille (first country that comes to mind) because they know what they're doing and how the sport is played. I just don't watch it because it makes me think about our sucker society. *sigh*

People here call me an infidel whenever I bring up the subject.

i dislike the eu they don't seem to do anything right. i more so hate the president of the eu since hes so god damm against country independence. 'get rid of flags and anthems for new super eu ones' no just no but that could just be press spinning over in england.

 

My last say on the Football subject: I just like the armored look, it's also one of the reasons I play Icehockey (even more armor!!!).

England (especially the press) has it's way of twisting facts into bad opinions about everything that happens with Belgium and the EU. They are often (partially) right however. I saw some of the papers after the EU president was chosen, and seemed as if they had followed the 'election' on a completely different planet.

The president is partially the reason why we have no government (once again). Since he had to leave his post as prime-minister (of Belgium) for the EU we got the screw-up back that destroyed the government the first time around. *facepalm* It was for the better however, we're having elections on sunday and surveys point out we're going to have a Belgian revolution. We needed one since the Netherlands are having theirs at the moment and the French already had theirs a long time ago.

The joke is, even if he as president of the EU is against country independence (which I didn't know, but could suit him just fine), he doesn't have a thing to say. He's prohibited of voicing his opinion (or to take part in votes or something) in the EU parlement. It's title, only nothing else. Still don't get why UK was so upset about it.

I'm not really one for complete country independence. I like the whole unity thing because the euro currency makes it very easy to buy stuff all over the place, except for... you guessed it, the UK. They should just join the euro region and be done with it. I still have lots more to say about this but well those things are opinionated and philosophical.
