calm down everyone. I just made a statement. There's no need for all the defensive stuff and name calling. I just said I didn't even know people cared so much about their stats.
I agree in the end why do people care so much about the leaderboards? Is it really that important? However, I have always wondered why it is so difficult to make a leaderboard that does not get manipulated somehow. They never seem to work, they always get ruined by pathetic cheaters. Oh well, just gotta get back to playing for the fun of it.

The W/L ratio leaderboard is .... not smart. Without a party system, it's near impossible, and once you lose 1 match, you pretty much have no chance of getting anywhere near the top. Also, if I am actually going for posts and I come in first place almost every game, but my team slacks off, I pay for it. I have had times where I felt like I was babysitting them. I was constantly getting data posts, just for us to lose them again because people were playing like it was TDM. The leaderboards don't work well this way, and the leaderboards from the first games were much better. Also, a Call of Duty style leaderboard would be cool, tracking kills, accuracy, wins, and career points earned in the multiplayer.

I cant speak for everyone, but for myself its not really the actual leaderboards that are so important, its the fact that such an obvious design flaw was not caught... and its not alone.

I was ranked 40 on the Team Elimination leaderboards, lost two games this morning, and dropped to like 100  . Not that I care a whole lot but DAMN CAPCOM!!! What's the deal??

Many ppl will stop play in LP bc they will have no motivation. U need only 2 hour for join the Top 10 and after that u can stop play Ranket Match. For me this is the only one defect in LP2 but really huge one. I think if Capcom do nothing with that soon then the game will lost popular very fast bc ppl really see no goal in all. Do smtg with that pls!

Yeah, I was one of the ones that thought we would see a kill ratio leaderboard, as well as a points board, a headshots board, a posts grabbed board, and a VS's destroyed board. To my dismay, I was wrong.

On LIVE there's like one guy in the top ten who's gold account ran out either the day or some days after Lost Planet 2 came out and they haven't been on since. All I could do was smh. Not that I care to stay at the top of the leader boards(got my spot back, lost a few games recently and instantly went from 50 to like 400 now) but seriously it's pointless even looking at the leader boards now. If one didn't get top ten and quit rank matches when the game released, then there's no hope unless Capcom steps in. Hopefully they fix this mess.
