The inability to play with friends in ranked matches is a HUGE step backwards for a 2010 next gen title, this needs to be fixed very badly, so I agree on that, and that leaderboard system is flawed
They may have looked at what happend with mgo where people constantly stacked teams so the same people always want rp and ranked up. This pretty much destroyed the mgo community. (that and glitchers) I'd say not playing with friends in ranked is the lesser of two evils. Before this game hit, people stated that they wanted to be able to rank up with friends, so...you rank up in player matches. Now, thats some how, not enough.

srsly? So i can get more clothes from player matches? EDIT: I just played a player match and it gave me points towards my level, thanks so much for that info it should be easier to get my clothes now :)

actuallly blastaar was nice till everyone started console wars every other thread and this forum got flooded by trolls but it really isnt an issue. the issue is the leaderboards are kinda useless for the reason people are cheating there way to the tops with ther intentional lag crap so no matter what everyone who is a true player loses

whoever started this post is absolutey right the leaderboards are bad i enjoyed fighting out for the top ten spot on points but now lol all these people who go for the achievements are just cheating it and spoiling it for others its a joke and you can easily play 20 match and go undefeated just leave the game just before you loose it does matter if you get your DNF% up because after 20 games when there win ration is 1.000 there obviously never going to play again and im sure they wont be bothered that they cant earn a few career points in the mean time lol cmon KD Leaderboards how can you not see that people are going to cheat that lol there's a guy in 1st place now with 112.000 really? lol you need to sort the leaderboards out really and change the Nom Nom achievement so all there achievement whores dont keep boosting honestly you look at almost everyone in the top 10 are either people with like 100,000 gamerscore or new accounts this is stupid.

The W/L ratio leaderboard is .... not smart. Without a party system, it's near impossible, and once you lose 1 match, you pretty much have no chance of getting anywhere near the top. Also, if I am actually going for posts and I come in first place almost every game, but my team slacks off, I pay for it. I have had times where I felt like I was babysitting them. I was constantly getting data posts, just for us to lose them again because people were playing like it was TDM. The leaderboards don't work well this way, and the leaderboards from the first games were much better. Also, a Call of Duty style leaderboard would be cool, tracking kills, accuracy, wins, and career points earned in the multiplayer.

The W/L ratio leaderboard is .... not smart. Without a party system, it's near impossible, and once you lose 1 match, you pretty much have no chance of getting anywhere near the top. Also, if I am actually going for posts and I come in first place almost every game, but my team slacks off, I pay for it. I have had times where I felt like I was babysitting them. I was constantly getting data posts, just for us to lose them again because people were playing like it was TDM. The leaderboards don't work well this way, and the leaderboards from the first games were much better. yeah and ive got a legit KD of 3.8 and im 19th and the only way im going to keep my crown is if i leave every game that i dont get a higher KD than 3.8 lol thus it forces me into getting in a VSs all game trying not to die and making the game boring for others the leaderboards suck they need to change it asap

I`ve jusy checked top 10. No 1 has 117 kill ratio.... :) . My bad. You`re right guys. Nothing has changed. Another crappy system... Any ideas how to make a good one ?

Temporary leaderboards would solve the problem entirely. Monthly, Weekly, and Between-Patch leaderboards would probably work the best. Between-Patch, of course, would mean that the leaderboard is wiped every time a new game patch comes out. Aside from that, I'd like to see more of a Warhawk-style leaderboard. It's less detailed than the MW2 leaderboards, which can be a good thing. It would make the crowns even more rare, since there would be a lesser amount of fields in which crowns could be achieved, but at the same time, it would still be an improvement to the current system. In addition to KDR and WLR, a Warhawk-style leaderboard would also track different assigned stats from each game mode, such as kills and posts activated. Rather than a ratio, it would track overall amounts, and the main flaw of the current system would be solved. This would force people to actually attempt to make it to the leaderboards, since it would take more than a single game to make it to the Top 10.

I'll say this much, Capcom screwed up horribly on the ranked matches in this one, but player matches give you xp now, so why does it matter. Although it does bother me that my stuff isn't recorded anymore.
