I skimmed the guide earlier when I stopped by Gamespot to pre-order the game (lol. I know I'm late), and saw that it said the Dummy Grenade II was the 'stronger' version of Dummy Grenade I. What I didn't get is...how is it stronger? Bigger explosion? Faster? Bigger explosion was the only one that would make sense to me

Yeah, but the guide is wrong at that part (except maybe about the explosion thing). Dummy II can shoot even though it said it doesn't if I remember right.

When they say it's "stronger" they mean it takes more shots to destroy it. Cool

So let's say you have a gunsword maniac running around the map slaughtering your team, pop a Dummy grenade II, he thinks it's a real enemy since it's shooting him, he charges up for a slash, and BOOM he kills himself by auto-detonating the dummy time bomb.

Dummy 2 doesn't shoot, dummy 3 does

No real smart player would go up to a player and melee him in mid-combat. Plus, Dummy Grenades have that quiet, but noticeable 'hiss' sound while it's floating. I'm still guessing it'll blow up in your face if someone shoots it before it actually transforms into a Dummy.

Would still prefer Dummy Grenade 1 or 3.

So, if someone self-detonates by the Dummy Grenade, do you get counted as the kill?  Or, do they just die and you don't get any point for it?

Self-destruct, in most cases.

LP does lag sometimes and in some cases, people might be awarded kills for it.

If you throw a dummy grenade out and the other player causes it to explode, thus killing him, you get the kill. Also remember that you don't have to actually touch dummy nades for them to explode. They seem to have a small proximity radius.

I got lucky with a slot machine roll and got the gun sword!!  I do however think that it is one of the cheapest guns in LP2, but hey at least it helped me complete some arena challenges.
