I just picked up the prima guide. There are TONS of weapons. Someone mentioned a grenade that lets you see through walls. I'll confirm, it's called the Chameleon Grenade. The injection gun upgrades to, instead of buffing, allow you to shoot team mates to restore their health and bestow a "termporary no T-Eng consumption" period". It doesn't say whether or not you can shoot yourself with it. I assume you can. The last version of the sniper rifle is a bold action, only holds 5 rounds, but is a one shot kill. In other words...it's a TRUE sniper rifle, not for spammers. The max shots it can hold is 25 and the hit radius is only 1. It's def for real snipers. There's also a gold rifle thats identical to the original rifle. There are also 3 different designs for the shields. Reg, some kind of green motif, and the pink one some of us have seen.

For all intents and purposes, the Gun Sword is only unlocked through career levels. Also, it may be unlocked through the slot machine. This is what I have read. Any of the mods may dispute this freely.
Can you also tell us which faction that'd be? That way I can go play like crazy crap with that faction so I can get the gun sword. Also is it true that plasma gun II or others also have a blade or is the gun sword really the only one?
Sorry guys, from what i've seen so far, there is no snow bunny (or valkyrie). Hopefully they'll release and old school dlc with all the characters from the first game. As for unlocking the gunsword sp, you do it at level 70 as a rounder. I'm not sure how you unlock the reg gunsword. My guess is that you do it in the slot machine.

Well It turns out my gamestop wasn't allowed to sell the strategy guide, but since I'm getting the game tommorrow morning, they said they'll hold a copy for me and give me a discount bringing the price down to 16 bucks. I can't wait for the game, I hope the strategy guide has alot of pictures in it, I'm a reader, but I also like seeing cool akrid pics or concept Vs or some concept art.

Alright then lv 70it is, even though I just got the gun sword in the slot machine 5 minutes ago (lucky me!!!) Thanks for all the info man because there's no other place on the net yet to find any info about stuff in the full game.

The guide is missing a TON of stuff that I've seen in vids and streams and from listening to Snow's interviews. I know guides mention that they might not be complete, but still. How could they overlook so much? It also kind of gives false (maybe) information on some statistics, but nobodies perfect. Nonetheless, the guide is very entertaining to read through. I've seen A LOT of new out of it that I never knew before. I don't regret anything.
