I didnt see one at Walmart that had a demo disc (usually in plastic wrap). Does any body know when they deliever the stuff or somethin? ...I wish I was subscriber now atleast...or if it aint in there, where the heck they gettin the demo from?

It's a UK magazine so idk. He said he will try his best to get a vid to me. He claims he will prove anybody who doesn't believe him wrong. We'll just have to wait and see.......

Come on!!! 360 gets ALL the lost planet love from capcom. Announcement trailer, demo showcases, demo first, xbm articles. Look at it this way, if the demo is on the ps3 first, maybe a bigger better version will come out on the xbox a month later. Either way it's great to have both consoles!!

In a positive thought, this is some new information.
The one multiplayer map we've been seeing alot of footage on is called Turbulent Jungle.
There was a selection for defualt weapons (with an 's') and it said "Standard". If I were to take a well educated guess, this means that the weapons you choose for co-op do not carry over to versus. Instead, the host selects a "set of weapons" which would explain why there was an 's' yet only one selection underneath. So standard would be like the machine gun, shotgun, rifle, rocket launcher, basically the stuff from LP:EC. Another set could be called T-ENG where the weapons on the map are that new T-ENG shooting machine gun, flame thrower, plasma rifle, plasma cannon, etc. *not to sure if I like that*
They were playing elimination and next to there names in the scoreboard were "001/020". So I guess instead of a battle-guage you can select a kill limit.
Apparently all of the 16 player's characters are gonna appear in that pre-game lobby we've seen from the co-op demo. That is gonna look instense. Now we just need to see if all 16 characters will go into the loading screen mini-game together, hehehe
Way to be positive lol. The player that took the pictures is from the US. I find it interesting that he says he got it from Hastings Entertainment. I used to frequent one of their establishment back in the day. They mostly populate the small towns in the southern states, but there are a few up north. After some research, I found that there are no Hasting store's open in the UK. You can only order things online from the UK. I searched their website and there is no trace of a LP2 multiplayer demo.

[/quote] yeah I thought about that too. I guess the video will be given to me tomorrow(if it's true ). Honestly I'm just as confused as everyone else on this. This has obviously caused a lot of heat and I truly didn't mean to get on anyone's bad side. It's just something I was given that made me curious so I posted here in case anybody at Unity knew of it. But since no questions are really being answered and Snow hasn't made an appearance to put out the fire yet I don't know

Well you definitely didn't get on my bad side, if anything you made my day. A little PS3 history for ya: there have been several limited-access demos on the PS3 since it's launched with various ways to gain access, notably through subscriptions to pre-orders. However, there has never been a limited-access demo that hasn't made it's way to the public.

My guess is it was just a multiplayer build/demo that Capcom held at some sort of gaming/press event. He probably just found some pictures of it on the internet. But honestly, I have no idea, that's just my guess.
