Technically, nothing was said about a demo. Instead, it was the media who misunderstood the meaning of Takeuchi-san's saying there would be a demo at E3. There was a demo playable by the public at E3 in our booth. He never said there would a DOWNLOADABLE demo. In fact, the words "online" or "downloadable" where never a part of what he was saying.

Again, it was a misunderstanding taken out of proportion. Sorry for all the hurt feelings here, but trust me when I say it's too early. How would you feel if we released a demo to you that was buggy and not fully polished? Please, be patient.

I don't think that is entirely true. In video interviews that I've see the developers said that they released a demo for the first lost planet at e3 and they were looking to do the same for LP2 this e3. I'm sure that they specifically said that the demo would be available during or after e3 so if they were referring to a demo that would only be available at e3, how could they release it after e3?

I'll try and find the video, but either way i'm happy for the developers to take all the time they need but i really think they should release a multi player demo/beta to make sure the game works online this time around.

I'm disappointed that a demo hasnt been released but at the same time maybe this extra time will give them the oppertunity to fix some of the bugs that were seen in the e3 demo videos (take a second look there were several).

I'm also very hopeful for LostPlanet2, RedFaction has gotten rave reviews and that games trash compared to the original LostPlanet (pertaining to multiplayer) so i expect LostPlanet2 to blow RedFaction away in multiplayer.

I hope they release two demos, one for multiplayer and one for co-op singleplayer like they did for the first LostPlanet game.

I'd rather have them release one now and another close to the release.

i agree with this, you give people everything at once there going to bore of it..if you give them a little and let them know that theres going to be more later, people tend to hang around longer.

I would very much like a demo! My friend even bought RE5 because of the demo, we had some great co-op moments in that demo..

But yeah, always for a demo! Although, I know demos are difficult and time consuming to make, and if this game is anything like LP1, I will probably buy it, the MP was really solid in LP1, I think that the MP in LP2 could become something really great.

They should do it just like they did the first LP demos, IMHO. release a single-player (or co-op) version that displays that aspect. The couple of months before the game is released, drop the MP demo.

just my opinion.

It seems that everyone wants the same thing. A demo now and another one later. Capcom, please listen to our request!

Oh yeah! That's awesome :D Thanks Capcom!

I hope it's a SP demo that is as varied as the first one was. Some on foot action, some vital suit action.. Good stuff!
