The demo was one of the big reasons I was looking forward to E3.
i've been trying to get some friends intrested in this game and telling them that theirs going to be a demo out by/during e3 now i've made into a liar.. i dont appreciate that at all...

Ahh that's so lame. Nothing should have been said then because ppl are just upset and frustrated about it now.
The demo was one of the big reasons I was looking forward to E3.
Technically, nothing was said about a demo. Instead, it was the media who misunderstood the meaning of Takeuchi-san's saying there would be a demo at E3. There was a demo playable by the public at E3 in our booth. He never said there would a DOWNLOADABLE demo. In fact, the words "online" or "downloadable" where never a part of what he was saying. Again, it was a misunderstanding taken out of proportion. Sorry for all the hurt feelings here, but trust me when I say it's too early. How would you feel if we released a demo to you that was buggy and not fully polished? Please, be patient.

Respect the developers guys they tell the truth not like the publishers or cheap PR guys. as mush as i hate it and god knows i do because i realy want this game BAD! i do respect theyr disition and i trust them it is indeed for the better. Still i do hope that they will (like the old one) will release a nice demo for us to play. until than i will be practissing and playing on colonies. Can we close this topic now?

I don't think that is entirely true. In video interviews that I've see the developers said that they released a demo for the first lost planet at e3 and they were looking to do the same for LP2 this e3. I'm sure that they specifically said that the demo would be available during or after e3 so if they were referring to a demo that would only be available at e3, how could they release it after e3? I'll try and find the video, but either way i'm happy for the developers to take all the time they need but i really think they should release a multi player demo/beta to make sure the game works online this time around.

if the demo wasnt ready they could of just showed it afterwards. thats why they said the lp2 demo would be out before or at E3.
