thats not what demos are for. demos are made for people to try out a game and to grab them so they will buy it. i know for a fact right now i will be getting lost planet 2. i dont have to see any videos or play any demos to change that. a demo would be nice to play right now but it wouldnt be of any use to them as a company trying to attract new customers when by the time the game has come out most of them will have forgotten. a sign of a demo coming soon tho might point towards a release in the near future.
Like i said. If your a big LOST PLANET FAN then you already know you will like it. Also, the first LP had a demo 7 months before it's release. I see no problem seeing a demo now.

like the first lostplanet game i expect there to be two demos, one being a co-op campaign and the second being a multiplayer demo. if they released one or the other but not both (demos) at the same time they could keep people intrested until the game comes out. i want to play a demo so i can get some of my friends intrested in the game, ive been raving to them how great this game is since it was announced on xbl. also having a playable demo will more then satisfy me till the actual game comes out.

all the good and already hyped games had demos far in advance so they could make them even better. lost planet was hyped up too but to most the game failed. i dont see much hype for the second game. and wizdoomborn said in another thread the game is expected winter 2010. thats a year and a half away. maybe they mean E3 next year.

Year and a half? It's June. Winter lasts about between December and Febuary. At most it's 8 months away, not 18.

I think you may want to research, especially since Kotaku got word directly from Takeuchi san. Going off of what others are saying isn't always the best idea. :P
