Just a note, there is no online coop for the main game in Alien Hominid (there is for the minigames), for those of you expecting it.
yea sorry i meant offline co-op, and online play. i tell you what tho, its so much fun!

i was checking the home page and i didnt think anyone was posting anything... but i checked the forums and saw that there was a pretty active thread that isnt updating itself in the recent activity on the main page... so anyways im hoping that the new update doesnt ruin my online play, and i feel terrible for all those who cant join matches now :( hopefully this gets worked out soon. have any of you guys got the update yet? i wondered if all was wekk with it or are you getting the samething as the players in the thread i linked above?

update works great for me. that long lag before matches starts is gone, and a lot of other annoyances have gone away

I still got it. The "Please wait..." thing. It stayed there for 10 or so seconds.
Anyway, Armored Core 4 demo is up in the Japanese Marketplace. If you have a japanese account, you can try it.
Mine is almost 70% complete so I haven't tried it yet. I dunno how long I've been downloading it, but I think it takes longer than downloading from the US local. Definantly will have been at least an hour by the time it's done.
But I just thought I'd let anybody who was interested know.
I wish it'd hurry up. I can't play Lost Planet online and download Armored Core 4 at the same time.
EDIT: I just played it. It's alright. Controls need a lot of work. Graphics are okay but the levels are so barren. Doesn't pack the visual flare of Lost Planet. The enemies aren't very fun to fight. This one mech kicked my *** in mission 2, but it was still just boring. I'm not looking forward to this game now.
