That's IF he has a VGA cable. I picked up a VGA cable for the 360, and hooked it up to my Dell 2407WFP... **** super nice picture, and the super fast refresh rate made a huge diffrence.. . but I still like playing on the 51" HDTV.. especially when trying to dodge sticky grenades from Lucent.

I don't know what model my Dell monitor is, but it's not flat. It's big in the back like TVs are. I was thinking of getting a VGA cable to see if the picture might be even a bit better. But I don't want to keep switching from my PC and my 360. That'd be a pain.
I really want some kind of video capture program/device I can use to record my games. Then all the hilarious things I do can be recorded.

i wish the 360 had a web browser, then posting on the forums or arranging a clan match would be in an all in one device for me

I HIGHLY suggest using the VGA cables if possible. My Dell ws LCD monitor at work has component cable inputs, but sitting so close I was able to see how bad the scaler in it is (scaling 1280x720 to 1920x1080). But switching to VGA, it's extremely sharp and clean.
Even at home, I sit about 8' away from my 43" TV, but I noticed the picture was a lot sharper using VGA when I upgraded to those cables last month. And this is with the generic $20 VGA cables I got at Microcenter, not the $50 official MS version. For $20 it even came with a nice-looking optical cable.

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Official-Micros … dZViewItemIt's worth it, just do a search for 360 VGA and you'll get several more. Make sure you buy the official ones but also keep your price point below $25. I got mine for $15 :D and I use it on my old Hewlett Packard CRT monitor from '96 or so.

My cousin is supposed to know a lot about computers and stuff, yet he told me my monitor probably wouldn't run the 360 very well. But if a monitor from a decade ago can do it, mine can't be total ****e! XD I'm gonna have to try it.
