I'm wondering about Eternal Sonata. They're gonna release it on the PS3 eventually and add in a few things. But I guess being able to change clothes and adding two more playable characters isn't really a big deal. I just know I want the faceplate and can't get it without buying the game for the 360. I mean, I could buy it, never open it, and keep the faceplate. I haven't even gotten any farther than 8 hours in Blue Dragon and still have other games to play. There'll be Halo 3, but I don't know if the multiplayer is really going to get me hooked or not after the campaign has been played several times. We'll see. And then there's the Orange Box. I guess I'll just see what happens. :/

I'm wanting a PSP now, though. Didn't really care for it and was leaning more towards the DS, but now the PSP is getting some real gems and then some. FFTactics is one of the best tactical rpgs ever. Crisis Core looks "dope". If we get the first two Star Oceans on there, then holy ****.

I take it Blue Dragon isn't gripping enough? I get the feeling Eternal Sonata'll be the way. Hopefully Lost Odyssey will do better but considering it's still the same team from BD...

I'm waiting for the PSP redesign and then will probably pick it up next year, after some more worthwhile games come out. Might get it with a PS3 but for now, I'll stick to my 360 for console needs solely because it has simple easy to use vga option (no HD TV for me).

It's not that it's not gripping enough, because I actually kind of enjoy old-schoolish stories like this, too. It's just that I feel cheap when I don't have to strategize much. Old-school RPGs were pretty **** hard. Breath of Fire II, Lufia, Earthbound, Final Fantasy 6 and so on. With this selling itself as an old-schoolish RPG, it sure is easy. I couldn't figure out how to used the Hard mode after downloading it off the japanese marketplace. Some said they got it with a Hong Kong account, but I don't see why an account from Tokyo, Japan wouldn't work because others said they could. I'll get back to the game after I finish off Oblivion's Shivering Isles expansion.
