I took a look at that while at Target. They had it on an HDTV and it made the game look horrible. Jaggies out the ***. Level 5 makes some good anime/cartoon character models, though.

Anyway, yes, that Xbox Live card did work. It said that it would work for both Xbox 360 and Xbox. Used it. Don't have to renew until May 2008. Sweet. I wish there had been more of them. Only one. $50 subscription for $12.48+tax. I still can't get over that. :cool:

****, I really want to get into that Halo 3 beta after seeing that recent video. I laughed my *** off when I saw a blue spartan launch himself in the air with the man-cannon (...) and a red spartan was kneeled down and sniped him out of the air. He fell on his face and was like "ARGHHH!!". The two new grenades look fun and seem to add more tactics to the game. I like the shield grenade. I'm wondering if other people on your team can be in the shield with you. That'd be a great tactic. Getting spammed with grenades? Put up a shield and watch them bounce off. The other grenade they showed seems like ...well I dunno but it looked like a big ball and the guy dropped it right in front of a oncoming Warthog and it threw both the guy and the Warthog and it's riders in the air with explosive action. They brought back the original standard machine gun from Halo:CE. They shortened the clip though so you'd be more likely to add in some melee. Seems they were saying that Halo 2 just about lost melee because everybody would just use firepower. I think they're really trying with this one.

And Halo 3 looks good, but to me it's still just halo. That "Floating Camera" feeling, no real way to be stealthy like you can be in LP, the fact it has auto aim... I dunno. I wanna try it, but for me it's just not as cool or as fun as LP online.

The campaign in Halo however... Now that's I'm looking foward to! To me, it's the most fun out of FPS campaign modes, and the story is great. Mostly just the story though, I really wanna know how it all ends...

Well yeah. I can't see Halo 3 being more fun than Lost Planet in the multiplayer aspect.

I'm just hoping they have co-op over LIVE for the campaign. I already know I'd have some people who I'd like to go through it with. *looks at the de-clanned clan* :D

I also want a handheld sometime. The DS and PSP both have their pros and cons, but I'm leaning more toward a DS Lite than a PSP. Yeah the PSP is a multimedia device, but from what I've seen, it seriously lacks the selection of quality games that the DS has. And not many UMD movies. Just about pointless unless you're on a trip. The DS is probably more innovative and fun anyway. I can't stand the analog nub on the PSP. I played it for only 10 or so minutes and my thumb already felt like it was seperating from my hand.

Won't be getting one for awhile, though. I've got stuff to save for. The thing I want most right now is my own place so I can live on my own. How I'll manage that, I don't know. But I'm working on it. :cool:
