haha! Not so!  Thank god I don't like sleeping.  Got a message from Alfred through YIM at 12:30am Central.  It said this:

32-3-1-4-12   5-18-18-7-10-5-4-1-18   12-7-28-6-3-30

First thing I said was WTF and a few other choice words.  I think I wet my pants a little, too.  Anyways...

Me and CrackerJak from UnFiction were on it faster then a fat kid on a cupcake.

This all starts with the hidden message found in the source code of Alfred's latest post:

-- 22-3-7-34-3-22-9-30 - a key for more to come --

mfir at UnFiction saw that this was most likely a ciphor for :D NEOVENUS, with each number corresponding to a letter in the word.  From this, we had a place to start...

CrackerJak noticed that the vowels had a pattern of their own: A-1, E-3, I-5, O-7, U-9.... with the bold ones already known.  Great find!

The rest goes like this... Remove the vowels from the alphabet so it reads BCDFGHJKLMNPQRSTVWXYZ. Assign each one a number from 1 to 21. Double that number to get the number for this ciphor.

B-1 - 2
C-2 - 4
D-3 - 6
F-4 - 8
G-5 - 10
H-6 - 12
J-7 - 14
K-8 - 16
L-9 - 18
M-10 - 20
N-11 - 22
P-12 - 24
Q-13 - 26
R-14 - 28
S-15 - 30
T-16 - 32
V-17 - 34
W-18 - 36
X-19 - 38
Y-20 - 40
Z-21 - 42

YAWN... well, it's really late.  Yes, I am going to leave it at this!  You got the key, figure out yourself... I don't want to take ALL the fun out of it!  Hint: It's another anagram  Although I know what that is as well... YAWN... I will post it tomorrow.  Get working!  Feel free to post it if you figure it out before then.

I'm guessing that the vowels are the odd numbers.
So the code is NEOVENUS

I am always posting answers here, so I thought I would give other people a chance to find something.:D

Anyways, yeah, the message is TEACH ILLOGICAL HORDES.  It is an anagram, obviously.  The solution that makes the most sense, right now, is CHILLED ARCHAEOLOGIST, being that it is cold at Cloacina and EDN-3.

Where to go from here is not yet known, but is good to know we are one step closer.

Keep you updated!

EDIT: CrackerJak has confirmed that CHILLED ARCHAEOLOGIST is not the solution.  Method pending...

Maybe it's a password and user name for one of the various LP sites?

I had noticed this before, but Ofiuco at UnFiction discovered if first.  The word CHOCOLATE appears in the anagram.  Considering Alfred's games with Phil, this seemed like it may be something...

Ofiuco discovered that TEACH ILLOGICAL HORDES = GHIRADELLI CHOCOLATES.

Ghirardelli chocolates is a popular brand of chocolate that found its roots in the San Francisco area.  A popular misspelling of the word is with the missing R, as you may notice.

Great find!  Now what do we do with that...
