While RE5 had split screen in the console versions of the game - they shamelessly ripped it out of the PC versions for reasons I don't quite understand.  I'm considering buying LP2 for PC however I really want the local split-screen mode.... my computer is fast enough to handle it.  Can you play split screen or was it ripped out of the PC version again?

Split Screen on PC? You got to be kidding..having two guys bunched up next to a scrawny monitor? Also that and there is practically NO WAY that two people can use a single keyboard and mouse.

Two controllers yes, on a big HDTV yes...but I think what you should be asking for is LAN. Two computers, two sets of keyboard and mouse...and one game.

First of all my scrawny normal monitor is 27 inches.... it's not that scrawny to begin with.  Secondly I have a 47" HD TV that I hook my computer up to for gaming all the time.  Thirdly I connect Xbox 360 controllers to my PC for all kinds of gaming goodness.  Street Fighter 4 is great with this setup.  Sonic and Sega all stars racing is incredibly fun playing 4 player split screen not to mention Left 4 Dead.  Don't knock what you don't know anything about.

Controllers? Why buy the PC version if you are going to use controllers? The whole point of PC versions is to be able to use a keyboard and mouse. You're basically using your PC as a console which kills the whole point of getting the PC version of a game. If you want to play a game in a console-like way...get the console version.

Because I don't have an Xbox 360 or a PS3?  I bought the Xbox 360 controllers because I like them a lot and they work great with all kinds of PC games straight out of the box.  I also have 2 Madcatz TE Fightsticks for Street Fighter and my entire arcade collection.  There's no such thing as playing a game in a PC-like way or playing a game in a console-like way.  A game is a game.  Keyboard and mouse is all well and good but do I really want to play Virtua Tennis 2009 like that? Why is this so difficult to understand?  All I want to know is if it supports it yes or no?

I find it hard to understand seeing how gaming computers are a lot more expensive than a console and the features you ask for a more suited for a console environment. I have yet to come across ANY pc game that has Split-screen, I'm not saying it's a dumb idea, but not many pc games account for controllers seeing how most pc games are programmed for a mouse and keyboard.

If you really want me to bug off fine but I just find it strange for asking Capcom if they have a console feature to a pc-version of a game.

Of course once you throw Mame into the mix then the number shoots up into the thousands.

I'm really looking forward to Dungeon Defenders as well which is going to support it.

A lot of people use XBOX controllers with PC. They play games on PC cause of better video effiecency and sound quality. One of the Noms de Guerre in Lost Planet 2 is for : complete the game in split-screen with second player. Split-screen probably will be also in PC version. There is a lot of games where you can play even on 1 screen in coop and player 1 uses keyboard/mouse, player 2 uses joypad. That`s a typical solution for coop on PC (2 controllers either) .

Pretty much what he said. I received LP: Colonies as a gift, and even though my computer could BARELY handle it, the graphics was almost better than LP2's on the consoles. I used to only see a few youtube videos of it, but seeing it in front of your face on a computer monitor is just incredible. I also used my Xbox360 controller with the game, and if my computer was able to handle it; I would be playing the game right now.

Overall, the game is just better on the PC, Graphics-wise at least.

I guess I'm just a dieing breed of PC gamer...the kind who uses keyboard and mouse to play shooters for better accuracy and such.
