An RE Episode with Zombie Akrid: You kill them, but then they regather their T-Eng and stand up again. They are only really dead when you melee them to pieces before they regain their energy!

Put more akrid in the game, either in a Hoard mode or a new episode. Lost planet has lost touch of what made it fun and that's killin bugs!

I still want a: Fill slot idea (or overhauling the AI battle mode)


                      Some sorta party system


                      and legit capture the flag not a stockpile (Akrid egg)


 This is how I remember CTF: a map is divided directly in half and you can only shoot  when your on your side you then must get the flag and bring it to your side without dieing or the flag is reset Akrid Egg Battle is more like stockpile mode

Bug rancher episode:


Plot-


After 10 years of hard work, Nevec has finally made a suit/armour to befriend the akrid. Nevec has tried many experiments, spending heaps of T-ENG, Men and VS'es in order to do it. One of the experiments including sending men in the prototype suit to the large akrid Green Eye. The Green Eye managed to detect human, not akrid, thus  destroying the Nevec experimental team. The prototype armour consisted of having alot of T-ENG(over 50,000), yet the akrid still managed to detect human. More experiments happened and more failures came. Finally a Nevec General, sick of seeing men being wasted made a suggestion. Combine human with akrid. In order to do so, Nevec had to harness million of Akrids Cells and placed it in a single syrine. In total 4 syringes were made(4 players), and were injected into 4 eager Nevec soldiers. The effect instantly reacted. Natrual horns appeared out of the troops, skin coloured became different(dots) and tails came out. It resembled Trilid but they were still human. They had super natrual powers, including faster reflexes, infinite T-ENG. The Nevec Commander pleased with the results, decided to send the team in a test. To the resevoir, seeing if the Category G there would befriend them. The Category G welcomed them into the lair, speaking akrid. Somehow what, the soldiers managed to understand and follow. Deep inside the lair, the soldiers gasped. T-ENG over flowing everywhere, pleased they quickly told the commander. The commander quickly told them to harness as much T-ENG as they could and get out of there. The Category G akrid somehow what detected unusual energy thanks to the GPS units they had on them. The Catergory G instantly knowing they were not akrid summoned all the trilid it had in the lair to attack the soldiers. The soldiers some how managed to summon trilid as well resulting in a akrid war. The Bug Ranchers mission is to get out of the lair and survive with only a battle gauge of 2000. In easy it would be 3000, medium 2500 and hard 2000. During the survival mission, players will not need T-ENG, they will have infinite. Instead of having the T-ENG Sharer, players will have 'Akrid Summoner'. This makes them sacrifice there health, in order to summon akrid of all sizes to fight for them.

I've been scheming up a few scenarios for a Snow Pirate Elite Episode.  I love the Crimson Unity and Mountain Pirate designs.  Here's one story.


 


Warning:  Extremely long post.  Character names are random


 


Option A:


 


Setting- Crimson Unity base from the first game, in the still snow covered city.  Main character getting up from bunk and walking around base, the camera shifting to different events.


 


Thomas:  It's been twelve years since we chased Nevec off EDEN I.I.I  Out of all the Snow Pirates, Crimson Unity was the strongest.  (Chuckles)  Now we're just the oldest power player.  All these other groups are off exploring the terraformed zones, while we're just kicking back, watching the events unfold.  It beats having to scavenge though. 


(Camera shift)  Seems that carpetbagger we opened trade with is getting ready to go.  We get most of our thermal energy and ammo from them.  In exchange, we give them this so called "miracle metal" they keep asking for.  Last night, he drunkenly claimed that he was getting materials for some kind of massive weapon.


 


(Camera shift)  I see that bug rancher and his hunter pal are talking to the leader again.  Weirdos, they claim that the akrid can co-exist alongside humans.  As far as I'm concerned, they can just keep coming to die for our thermal energy reserves.  Despite being unable to reach us, the akrid still lie in wait down below, in the wrecked city.  I remember when that Wayne guy tore us apart.  Luckily for me, I was far away on patrol.


 


(Camera shift)  Oh great, here comes the Snow Bunny.  The only combat female we have in our ranks, every single one of us drops our jaw when she walks by.  Lucky bastards, the ones who make up here unit.


 


(Alarms go off)


Various voices fretting, pirates running about.


 


Leader's Voice on speaker:  Attention all Crimson Unity combat units, we have sight of a category G akrid approaching the city.  As you may know, this threaten our base and our existance here.  Get to your unit commanders, and give the akrid our, "special" welcome.


 


Thomas, along with 3 other pirates (other players) rush off to the deployment hanger.


 


Thomas:  Ready Sir!  (Begins to climb into osprey transport)


Unit commander Jacob:  Woah there, you're not with me anymore.


Group:What!


Unit commander Jacob:  Just got the orders in, you're with Snow Bunny as of now.


Thomas:  You're joking...


Unit commander Jacob:  Nope, you're to report to her.


 


(Group heads over to Snow Bunny's deployment hanger)


Thomas:Ready Mamm!


Snow Bunny:About time boys, lock and load!  (Climbs into vs)


(Group climb into various vs)


 


Mission 1:  Hold off akrid advance!


Basically, akrid begin to swarm in from various points of the city.  Your goal is to hold them off and beat them back from 7 data post areas.  Snow Bunny is a computer ai with (hopefully) advanced programming.  She can't die, but her vs must be kept intact till mission 2.


Cutscene:Undeeps emerge and wreck the Crimson Unity forces.


Mission 2:  Repel the undeep!


4 Undeep begin rampaging throught the city.  Your vs's are all destroyed, save for Snow Bunny's which just suffers severe damage during the cutscene and cannot operate.  You can either split up or stay together.


Cutscene:Bug rancher&hunter arrive upon Dongo vs, with 5 more following unoccupied


Thomas:  Are those for us?


Bug rancher:Yes, provided you escort the carpetbagger to his osprey at the edge of town.


Snow Bunny:  I call first dibs!


(Group shrugs, them hops on their individual dongo v)


Carpetbagger:(peering out from bug ranchers dongo vs)  You get me out of here, yes?


Snow Bunny:  C'mon already!


(Carpetbagger runs quickly and climbs onto Snow Bunny's dongo vs)


 


Mission 3:  Escort the trader


Basically, fight your way down the highway to the Carpetbagger's transport.  You have to remain on the dongo vs the whole time.  Unlimited ammo, but each player has different weapons.  Snow Bunny follows behind.  Blue Health bar represent her dongo vs' health.


 


Cutscene:  Carpetbagger takes off, Snow Bunny gets a call.


Snow Bunny:  What's the situation?


Crimson Pirate Leader:  It's the advance forces, they've been wiped out, save for a few survivors.  I'm being told its not one cat-g, its three.  Worse of all, they're, they're...


Snow Bunny:  What?


Crimson Pirate Leader:  GREEN EYE!!!!!!!!!!  Pull everyone back!


Snow Bunny:  Copy sir!


(Snow Bunny turns to face group)


Snow Bunny:   Well, why everyone else is falling back, we're going to go slay three Green Eye


Thomas:  Are you nuts!  Three Green Eye by ourselves!


Snow Bunny:  C'mon, it'll be a blast.  You do know I have the right to shoot you if you disobey a direct order.


(Group looks at each other, then hangs their heads down)


Thomas:  Yes Mamm...


Mission 4:  Defeat the first Green Eye!


Basically, you have various vs, including the dongo; various weapon containers and data posts on top of buildings.  The Green Eye is advancing through the city streets.  Same weakness's as first lost planet.  Snow bunny pilots a nida till its damaged too much, then goes on foot.


 


Mission 5:  Defeat the Second Green Eye!


This Green eye is still outside the city, on a snowy plain.  No vs's, just a few weapon drops and 2 data posts.


Snow Bunny joins you on foot.


 


Mission 6:  Defeat the Final Green Eye!


The last Green eye is below the Crimson Unity base, climbing up the slope slowly.  You ride in one osprey, piloted by Snow Bunny.  You can adjust the flight pattern (stop for 30 secs, go left, go right, up, down) by pressing certain buttons in the cargo hold when necessary, otherwise Snow Bunny just makes passes.  The Green Eye attack by shooting icicles up at you, which only heavy weapons can destroy.  It's weakspots are also covered up by two layers of armor.  The players can either use the side mounted Gatling guns or shoot their own weapons.  At times, you will have to press buttons to survive when the Green Eye knocks you off the osprey.


 


Cutscene:  Osprey lands in base hanger, pirates cheering all around.  The group jumps off, only to be startled by Snow Bunny, who plants a kiss on their cheeks.


Snow Bunny:  I knew you'd pull through.  From now on, you're with me!


(Group looks at each other, then raises guns up in a cheer)


 


Okay, I'm tired.

Ok, since they have made a bug rancher to look like an akrid and post modern as a data post they should make a skin that looks like a vs.


And heres a fan fic for an episode baisicly before episode 6.

                                    Chapter 1

Location: Neos

Nevec soldier: Sir we have multiple readings of space akrid on the radar.
Nevec leader: It shouldn't be that bad send a squad and take a look.
Nevec soldier: Sir, yes sir!

                                            Mission objective:
                                           Search the perimiter
The squad flys through space in their triseeds an notice a destroyed shuttle so they land there to look for evidence but see that nones is on board, not even a coarpse. But then about 6 akrid called Denkrill an unknown species of space akrid that normaly go in packs of 20 and prey on Nevec's shutteles. They each have 4 six inch tentacles coming from their mouthes and small bodies of about 3 feet but are highly dangerous. Anyway your mission is to exterminate all six of them. Their health gauges are 1,500 each and shoot thin lasers that deal small damage, but if you get to close the they will either swallow you whole or zap you. ounce you have exterminated all the Denkrill it switches to cutscene.
 
Nevec soldier 3: What were those things?
Nevec soldier 1: Denkrill, I should have known they were responsible. This is bad we need rienforcements.
Nevec soldier 2: Why whats so bad about a couple of small little bugs?
Nevec soldier 1: You don't get it, they always fly around in small packs when the Cat-G X-Breed is around it can turn comletley invisible and is 2x stronger then Akrid-X the akrid that a team encountered a while back.
Nevec soldier 4: I will call base and tell them we need reinforcements.
Nevec soldier 1: Ok.
       That's pretty much the first chapter of the 3 and I will work on 2 and 3 soon.
