Locked: DNF % very flawed

Me and some friends were just playing PLAYER matches to find some things and once we did we would quit the match. Well, this goes towards your DNF % and once it gets to a certain level you have to complete 7+ matches before you can earn points again. So the problem is, I quit a player match and now I can't earn anything when I play ranked.

So don't quit ever not even in a custom, private player match.

Edit: If I made it unclear, these were private player matches with friends to explore maps and experiment.

Don't be a quitter.

It's percentage based so if you play a few matches and actually stay until the end your DNF will go down and you will be able to level up again.

Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

These were games I created with friends that were 60 minutes long, they were private and they werent ranked. The only reason they were made is to experiment and when we were done, we left.

you shouldnt be able to set any match for 60min thats way, way to long. that, i think is a mistake on capcoms part.

but otherwise i hope you learned your lesson. im glad capcom added this, now we get to see the quitters wearing their scarlet letters :)

Yeah thats not a flawed system. It's set up for people just like you. Everyone hates when people on their team just leaves them high and dry in match. Stop the cryin.

Did you even read the whole thread?

You guys make it sould like I'm quiting in the middle of a match, I'm not. There is no way to end a game other than winning or loosing. We set up matches specifically that would not end so that would could do what ever we wanted and then quit when we were finished experimenting. I never have and never will quit the middle of a real game.

Make 10 minute exploration settings.  Stop whining.  You should have read the manual before playing anyways.

Awful lot of people in here that can't read...

That being said, it does seem like a stupid design choice on Capcom's part, but they must have some legit reason for it that you're overlooking. Or of course you could just make the matches much shorter, but I have no idea what you have in mind so that might not be the best idea.

I like the system, but I don't think it should effect private matches.

BTW, I found a way to solve the problem, we just start private matches with a low battle gauge and have it end as fast as possible by letting the other team kill you.
