I don't know about maps, but weapons.....
3 MGs, 3 gunswords, 3 energy guns, 3 revolvers, 1 handgun, 3 shotguns, 3 flamethrowers, 3 rifles, 3 plasma guns, 3 rocket launchers, 3 hand cannons, 3 plasma cannons...*takes breath*...atleast 22 different grenades, and some large number of VS weapons I don't even know, plus all the secondary weapons VSs have built in. Thar be lots weapons. EDIT: oops, forgot some.  Injection gun, 4 sheilds, V device, some sort of team super laser....ya, thats whats been confirmed.
in the end, sniper always wins...

I'm thinking there may be even more guns than that! They have a extra color variant for the shield, so who knows what else they did.

hey does anyone now how many mp maps there are in this game
I think i've heard from some interview that there is total on 10 multiplayer match plus two additional exclusive DLC-maps for those that have preordered from Gamestop. (those will be available also to other immediately but cost has not been published yet)
