I do see a problem in this, if you get stunned you can pretty much say good-bye. Maybe reduce the damage while stunned to give you one last fighting chance?
In nearly all the videos i've posted, there's at least one or two times where i'm stunned, yet still manage to kill the attacker, sometimes I even kill the attacker and a few more people right after.
Yes Blastaar we know your the best at LP2 even before its released. Were glad out of the 30 times you died in your videos you survived 2 or 3 stunning situations. Please stop talking about your greatness and contribute a positive message in the forum. Look at the thread "Lets change our mindset" and everyone will see what I mean.
I don't remember him bragging about how...''great'' he is in LP2.
Hey thanks man. I'm glad at least one person is actually reading what I type. I've said often that i'm not even that good of a player. Just average at the very best.

stop complaining about the stun effect it evens gameplay. the only problem you are having is cause you wanna be a god, and you cant so grow up and learn a new system of gameplay to make stuff harder . so everyone at least now has a chance and cant just hide and always kill right at respawn like most people do.

Instead of not being able to shoot when stunned, you should have decreased accuracy. At least we would be able to have a chance if shot 1st.
Keep on rollin'

I'm glad that this games getting peoples attention i really am, but damned if the new people here arent trying to change gameplay mechanics that have been with the series since day 1.. I think i'll stay away from this forum for awhile and just enjoy the demo and the game once it comes out.

Thats a sad fact people rant about everything if they to lazy learning how the gamemechanics work... This is some of the biggest reasons MW2 is that popular, because even my girlfriend can be good at it. And she is that bad, trust me. I love Lost Planet 2 like i love MGO the deep gameplay, the high learningcurve its that reasons i prefer MGO, LP2 or Alien vs Predator over MW2 or BFBC2 (they still good games).

I agree that it is extremely annoying. I don't remember being stunned this much in the first game. Although, I'm glad they took out the random stumble you used to do when you were low on health.

i totaly agree with you when the healh is low it can be annoying, but sometimes i wonder why for the sake of god, if i had less health and i dont wanna die for a full health or fast respawn for example, why no one try to flank enemys. If you got him from behind or got the first shot from the side the enemy had no chance to escape, low health or not. The gameplay is build on tactical movements not for super ubermensch reflex your positions are 100% more effectiv as your fast accuracy.

It's very annoying. It will only continue to cause more cheap tactics, strategies, and such. It will also continue to drive people away because of this inaccessibility in this game's multiplayer component. I am not demanding the stunning effect to be taken away completely, it should just be an option giving the ability to turn it off, that's all. I do enjoy playing as tactical of a game as i can, but not in this way. To give players more choice, variety, and accessibility would only increase sales of the game. In return, it would give the game more support and hopefully creating even better future titles because of larger budgets etc. Anyone who says there should be no additional health related options, specifically for stunning, is ignorant and/or selfish in my opinion.

The stun is a little too much. I don't think we should have the option to turn it off and on but it needs to be tweaked.

I don't see the stun turning ANYONE away. Never heard anyone complain about it over the mic.
