Of course! Co-op campaign is regular campaign. You can play it completely solo (if you're that awsome), three other NPCs, or with 3 friends.

That's what i figured just wanted to make sure, Thanks. I like games that allow you to create your own character. Also i doubt i'm that awesome, this is the first shooter in ages that ive wanted to play.

This might sound stupid but is that up to 3 friends? I mean can you do co-op with 1 friend only or does it necessarily have to be 4 people all the time? I just noticed how everyone always refers to it as 4 player co-op but can it be 2 and 3 player as well?

I belive they list it as up to 3 friends. It is a good bet that you could have 1 2 or 3 people join you for each size of game. Can't be sure until release how it would work specifically. Hopefully the game balances by adding enemies when you have more people playing.

oh yeah you're right, it is up to 3 other players.

Correction, you can only use your custom character once you've beaten the campaign once through, but there are incentives to make you want to play more than once through. I heard someone talk about the PS3 co-op demo as an example, first time through and you're playing it like the demo actually is, the second time through, you're up in one of the carriers flying and watching your friends fight from up in the sky and taking out flying Akrid in the process.

Everything i've heard says that you can always customize your characters, but only with the parts that you already have. Naturally, on your first play through you're not gonna have waysider parts at the beginning. You'll be able to customize your mercenary with whatever parts they have available to you before you unlock more.

I was under the impression that, in attempt to keep you from being in a group of mercenaries fighting against carpetbaggers but having your character dressed as a carpetbagger, that customization is a "playthrough 2" mechanic. You could be right, but this is how I've heard things so I'm just drawing conclusions from that. It's all speculation until we have the game, of course.

Actually I think you can only play as the supposed episodes faction the first time through. I can't remember if it was from Snow or not, but I DID read that some time ago. It will be like the co-op demo where each person was playing as the faction for that episode but whatever player you are determines what certain outfit of that faction you'll be wearing. From what I remember reading, it was saying that you play through the first time as the actual faction so that the outfits would make sense to the story. Then after you beat it, you can go back in as your own character with many other things available to do.
