1st of all, joining the capcom-unity lp community today or 5 years ago does not matter. The more people that play the demo means more people will buy the game. Then that means more people online at any given time and that means LP2 will be absolutely epic in terms of multiplayer and competitive gaming. I joined this site in Feb 07 but I don't deserve a code anymore than someone who joins today.

2nd, you will get a code if you follow the simple directions they posted on the LP twitter account. For those of you without twitter, here is what it says:

Lost Planet So you want early access to the multiplayer demo you say? Well that's easy: simply head over to lostplanetcommunity.com/ and click on the "Get Engaged" gun icon in the navigation bar to sign up for Capcom-Unity. Lucky members will receive their multiplayer code via email from Unity next week...but be quick on the trigger and sign up today!

If you are already a Capcom-Unity member, you can verify your registered email address in this same section on the Community site to make sure you get your code

You gotta reach 100 posts

You've got to be kidding... T-T"

Of course we are, all you have to do is skydive off the empire state building while getting your 100th post.

Actually, you go to the local gas station, brand is unimportant, and ask the attendant for the daily paper. Now here's where it starts to get a little tricky. Whatever letter appears first in the main headline between the letters N,S,E, and W is the direction you are going to have to walk for a mile. Once there, you must untie your left shoe. If your shoes are without laces, you are not eligible for the code. The untying of your shoe will signal a man in an orange Volkswagen Bus to pick you up in exactly 2 minutes.

Once you are picked up by the man, he will ask you to describe the weather outside. Regardless of the meteorological conditions, you must say word for word "it was quite cold this morning but the frost is melted and it's actually quite pleasant out". Any deviation from those exact words will result in you being thrown from the car, code-less. If you successfully answered in the aforementioned manner, he will pull over at the nearest pharmacy and ask you to pick him up the last bottle of bug-spray on the right in the appropriate section of the store.

If you return with this bottle you will probably notice that the UPC code looks awfully strange. That is because it is your demo code.

You're welcome.

You laugh but, as they say, the devil is in the details.

I made it up as I went along, inserting subtle LP nuances throughout.
