When the full game comes out I will attempt to go through campaign with gunsword melee only (if and as much as possible) as a challenge run.

Red Eye's an exception of course, I guess it's common sense to not be able to melee if your fighting a moving monster on a train xD no offense! Maybe that new energy-machine gun-weapon

The Plasma Gun SP? Yeah i wondering if it will overheat or not considering it's energy based. And I'm also interested if the fact that since it's rapid fire will that make it weaker than the original plasma gun.

Yeah it's labeled as Long Range though...which kinda sucks meaning you can't necessarily start out with it like a machine gun

XBOX 360 users got an inside xbox vid that showed a LP2 interview. On the video it showed the weapons part of the customization screen and showed the character testing that gun out.
