Unfortunate timing seeing as how i'll be in Djibouti come next April.

It took me 5 minutes to cool down from this...but alas that's great news...even though we have to wait 4-5 more months....
 Your FACE!...god damnit! C'mon,Magma Dragoon for a future Capcom vs___!(Not changin' till it happens.) 3DS friend Code:5241-1970-5045 Add me. Well, now I'm glad you guys didn't have a release date out before this news. But damn, April at the earliest? I guess I can always finish some of my other games while I wait.

I understand Snow. I am only afraid that some people will not and now will buy modern warfare instead of the lost planet 2 they waited for. I my self know like 7 people that were really waiting for the game and now told me they will wait no longer and buy modern warfare. -_-; But i will not i will wait on the great quality of Capcom and their games to come to me when the time is right. Delays are always to make things better. Small question some might find some peace in (if answered) Was the game also delayed coarse you had some new ideas that you wanted in there than the usual fine tuning? (so a complete new part of the game that was not there before

As release dates are in this age, the date may still change again. As it is, the best update we got is next fiscal, meaning they think it is somewherem April or after. Considering that is a large target to hit, there could still be changes to the date. I'm not saying they will suddenly say, oh it's done and release in three weeks. But if they make a few breakthroughs on their coding time, and get lucky with testing then maybe it will get closer again. It's up in the air until they go gold so we do have to wait unfortunately. I am just going to be positive though and hope for some programming miracles that expedite their production.

Well.... as a matter of fact (Thanks Black Jack ^.^).... next fiscal means the next financial year starting from April 2010 to the next April in 2011. Meaning that games like Monster Hunter Tri, Super Street Fighter 4, Lost Planet 2 and Death Rising 2 will be released somewhere along that time line. This can mean the games can be released anywhere in that time. O.o So Lost Planet 2 in Dec 2010 is possible. -_-;

You have to understand too that the game isn't finished, and that the fact that the release date is in the next fiscal has to do with the team still finishing the game. We wouldn't push it out for no reason. Right now there's things we want to finish in Lost Planet 2, and that means spending the time to do it properly to make sure you fans get a quality product. I know you were expecting it earlier, thanks to some sites posting dates that I told you were inaccurate for months now.
Anyways, this isn't a bad thing, if you have patience. It means the game will be better, since we're focusing on quality, and not forcing out a game that barely passes certification.
I apologize for the tone I took in my first post, Snow. You're right in that a lot of the frustration stems from people who believed the "wishful thinking" dates posted on GameStop and others, but the "Wesker skin" preorder announcement didn't do a lot to keep me from putting stock in those dates... and I sure as hell am not preordering a game that doesn't actually have a date right now. I also understand that more time to work on the game is more than likely a great thing. The game that the demo shows up is already thrilling, a complete blast to play. If it only gets better, so much better for our $60! But if it's getting to be December of next year and it's still going on, I don't know if anyone will be saying, "Relax! This is all for the better!" still. We played that PS3 demo tons of times since September, 3 nights a week or so. We still do. Hasn't gotten totally dull yet, still love so many parts of it. Nobody means to hate or disrespect, and I'm sorry if you thought there was that edge to what I said. We just wanna know when we're gonna get to put our money down and bring the real thing home, not to rush devs or force unfinished product out. Just the estimate! That "coming soon" at the end of the demo hurts every time.

maiky, it's "as a matter of fact". Regarding this vague release date, i'm actually happy that the developers are being given time to finish and polish the game to in sure it is a worthwhile sequel instead of rushing it out the door. I just hope that the 6 months or so until the game is released, is needed to finish and polish the game and not required to fix for major problem they're having with MT framework 2. I'm probably alone on this but i'm not overly impressed with what i have played of LP2 so far. Don't get me wrong, the game looks good and the giant boss battle was impressive the first few times i played it but in 6 months time, it may just feel like an average game compared to the games that are out at that time. I'm hoping to the some tweaks to the controls and movement of the characters as well as some new features by the time the game ships. Regarding the multiplayer demo, i would love to see one, simple because want everyone to be able to provide feedback that will help the developers create an amazing multiplayer experience. However, if creating a demo would waste development time, i think that i'm not alone when i say i would rather go without one. Instead i think Capcom/Snow should reveal their plans for multiplayer so that we all have the opportunity to provide feedback before the feature set is finalised... But who knows, the developers and their focus group managers may think they know best and take what we all have to say with a pinch of salt.

Thanks mate i have edit it ^.^ This all reminds me of the time the games industry almost had no publishers that wanted the developers to poop out games faster
