Work in Progress Still but Feel free to Comment

Single Player Mode:

In single player mode the default is player model 1. To use other player models, hold either X (for player 2) Y (for player 3) or RB (for player 4) on the loading screen. Each model has his own unique set of weapons and weapon layouts.

Co-op and Multiplayer Mode:

T-ENG Giving - Y + Left Trigger will swap between your grenades and T-ENG if a Player is running low. Useful to support Player 4 in Co-op since his set up is plasma based weapons

General:

Chose your Spawn Point - Every time you activate a data post it becomes a Spawn point and gives you 500 to your Battle Gauge so try and activate at least one during your Play

Sprinting - Press and Hold B to sprint for a nice speed boost

Rolling -  If you have Played Lost Planet EC or Colonies you will know how to Roll but, for those who don't, clicking in your Left Thumb Stick and pressing A will make your character roll. Very handy to dodge attacks.

Hanging On - If you press and Hold X once you have Grappled on to a surface you will stick to it like you are your life depended on it, Then Just click the Left Thumb Stick to be able to reel yourself in and out

Swimming - When you are in deep enough water Keep tapping A and you will swim just be careful not to go out to far or you will hit the level Barrier and it will stop you and you will die. Also while Swimming Sir Om Nom Nom's Electric Charge Deals no Damage to you.

Timing Your Jump - When Sir Om Nom Nom releases his Electric Charge if you just just before his Front feet hit the ground you can Dodge all Damage (With VS's you have to jump a little sooner because of the delay in the Jump)

Taunting - Like the Original Lost Planet and Colonies you can taunt by pressing and holding start and then pressing UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT on the directional pad, But now in LP2 you can also taunt using the Left and Right Trigger as well as the Left and Right Bumper that's giving you 8 taunts in total

Gun Sword Double Hit - When using the Gun Sword, tap B to do the first melee swing wait until the end of the first swing and tap B again to do another hit that has tremendous power

Injection Gun - The Injection Gun is one of many support weapons in the game. The gun has two modes, one increases offence and the other increases defence. To change between the two modes press B, you will see the circle around the gun change colour. (Red is offence and Blue is defence). You can use this on your team mates individually or in a group as the gun has an area of effect. You can also use it on VS's and your self (Aim at your feet). When a player's defence has been increased with the Injection Gun they no longer flinch when hit or shot and take very little damage by Sir Om Nom Nom's electric charge.

GTT - 01 and GTF - 11 - Click and hold in the left thumb stick and press the left and right triggers you will fire the sub guns of the VS. Helps while reloading.

GTF - 11 Dashing - Click in your left thumb stick and press A and you can dash in thr direction that your holding your left stick in. (This Can Also Be Done in the Air Press A then Click in your left thumb stick and press A again to dash in the Air)

GAF - 14D - While in the gunner seat you have full 360 turning so use this to your advantage and help your pilot.

GAH - 42BS (Brawler) Punching - Click and hold in the left thumb stick while pressing the left and right triggers, you will punch for close range combat.

GAH - 42BS (Brawler) Dashing - Click in your left thumb stick and press A and you can even combo it with the punch for quick attacks (This Can Also Be Done in the Air Press A then Click in your left thumb stick and press A again to dash in the Air)

Sir Om Nom Nom (Salamander) Weak Points

Knees - All six of his knees are key weak points once you do enough damage to a knee, his leg, from the knee down will disintegrate.

Mouth and Tongues - if you have a VS shotgun or rocket's shoot it in his gaping hole it will do some nice damage.

Outer Core - The outer core on his back is another key weak point. When you have done enough damage the core will retract within his body.

Inner Core - Once you are instructed to enter his Body or you are eaten (Mouth needs to be open without his tongues extended) you will be inside of the stomach. If you have caused his outer core to retract you will see his inner core, large and glowing (can't miss it), doing enough damage to the inner core will cause his outer core to re-appear. This is the Weak Point that deals the most damage.

Oh there's still one little trick you never mentioned heh Cool

SWINGING!

I am sooo Glad you kept the Swinging feature and kept it into game. Although it doesnt let me go in a full circle, I found an overhang and managed to swing legitimately back and forth and it was great, I can't wait to use it in the final game! Tongue out

btw for people who've never done it before, to swing grapple to an overhang(i.e. the one next to the Post and the Brawler V.S.) Go under the overhang and grapple straight up, you should be just hanging up there, next move up and down(kind of like an actuall swing) you should keep gaining momentum and eventually start moving back and forth.

I'd record it and post it here, but I don't have a Capture Card Cry

EDIT: I Found an even better Place to swing at;

1.Get on Sir Om Nom Nom's Back

2.Ride along untill you see the giant cave.

3.Get close to the edge between the entrance of the cave, and the outside, aim at the celiing and you should stick to the top. (Just found out how to do this.)

Also, if you don't get it right away it's ok, just takes some practice!

Also, if you read the green things at the beginning of the demo and scattered about the stage, you'll learn quite a bit of this stuff that way. =P

But, Zero did add quite a bit that they don't explain in those. I wouldn't have known about the swimming or the extra VS functions if Snow hadn't told me while we were playing.

Can't wait to try multiplayer (deathmatch and such) later on.

It's amazing how many new gameplay mechanics have been introduced on top of the existing ones. This game really pushes the 360 controller to its limits.
