Did you ever think of WHY there isn't a demo being released for PS3 at the same time as 360? I'm sure it isn't because Capcom hates Playstation. There is most likely a significant reason for the PS3 demo's delay, such as bugs having to be worked out. You complain that the demo isn't releasing but you'd be complaining just as much if it was but it was glitchy or flawed in some way. Let's just lighten up, and wait to see what happens.
I honestly don't think that's true. Everytime something new is said about LP2, they wait till the last minute to confirm it for PS3. I don't think it's because they hate Playstation but they do favor Microsoft. For example, when the game was first announced it was only said for the 360. They used some lame excuse saying they wanted to announce it to the original fans of LP first (Or something like that) That's a terrible excuse. Us PS3 LP fans are just as passionate about the game as they are. But for right now, you're right. All we can do is wait for news on this. I know complaining won't get me anywhere but it should show Capcom how we feel after they treat us PS3 fans like crap.
I understand why PS3 players are angry, but have you considered that it may not be Capcom's fault? I mean, we already know they made a PS3 demo, so we know that it exists, but I'm fairly certain that it's Sony that controls when and what content is released on PSN.

I'm a little bit beyond giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one. Too many times now.

You think the PSN execs said, "Yeah dont you put that Lost Planet 2 demo on our PSN. We don't want that on here." Are you outta yo mind? The demo for the PS3 is already made, yes, it'll be at Gamescom it was announced earlier this week. So what I want to know is whhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy can't they just put it on the PSN so everybody who isn't at the event can play it? On the PS3 that is. XBOX users are getting theirs. It's like a baker, baking a cake. He tells you, "This cake is for you and me.", he then goes on to bake the cake, eats his half, disppears for 6 months and returns with your half only to give it to you stale and moldy and even with a portion of that eaten aswell. This is what CAPCOM calls doing fans on the PS3 a "favor"? Just release the demo good lawd ha'mercy. We can't get betas, we can't get demos, can't special discounts, can't get games released on time, and we can't even get a straight answer when we ask why not. But we can sure get an empty space in the capcom store and on the PSN. A real shame we gotta come on here and get some PR like, "no information on the PS3 version of the demo" if yall got it up in the office playin da thang. Thas messed up yo...

Funny, this sounds like what everyone complains happened with Lost Planet 1 coming to PS3, AND NOT THE LP2 DEMO. You don't know anything about the quality of the Demo since you have not personally played it.

The earliest we saw the LP2 demo for PS3 was over a month ago. It doesn't take over a month to polish 1 boss level. And if its not ready, then that's their fault for not working on both 360 and PS3 versions equaly. (So much for taking us seriously this time around) This is complete B.S. If we don't get a demo at the same time as the Silver 360 users get it, then i don't know what to say anymore.

My PS3 homies, I feel your fustration. But understand, the #1 most likely reason that you guys aren't getting the demo the same time as the 360 is because PSN is free where as XBL is a subscription service. From what I understand Sony actually charges for bandwith for things like demos they put on PSN, where as Microsoft pays for demos and the such. I'm sure you guys will get the demo not to long after 360, but please don't bash Capcom because of the choices of Sony.

The PS3 and 360 use very different methods to run. Thus, a problem easily fixed on the 360 demo might be more complicated on the PS3. This can be seen in the case of the ID game "Rage" where it has been reported the PS3 version is lagging and is falling behind the 360 and PC versions, due to the way the system is set up.

This is a great point that I had just thought of as well.

Unless it's explicitly stated from Capcom that Sony policies are what caused this situation, I don't buy that. Not one bit. I know it's easy to assume that Capcom is always acting in the player's best interest... if you're a 360 owner. Look at everything surrounding LP2. The debut trailer on Xbox Live, the Xbox-only initial announcement, the months of waiting for so much as a confirmation of the PS3 version... if you think that's all because Sony charges companies for bandwidth, you're insane. I'm sick of hearing that excuse bandied about on forums and such when no one in a position to actually know what's going on ever seems to cite that as being an issue. If they did, I might feel different, but even then that's NOT what's going on here. It's like Chad said. If we get the demo when XBL silver users do, I'll understand. I'd be a lot more understanding if Capcom could just announce these things instead of being forced to stay quiet because of a crooked marketing deal. We can't get betas, we can't get demos, can't special discounts, can't get games released on time, and we can't even get a straight answer when we ask why not.
Aaaaand that sums up the whole situation in a nutshell.
