Will I be able to play "just me and my bro", "me, my bro, and a single bot", "me, my bro, and two bots", etc.? Takeuchi confirmed that you would be able to turn bots on and off but how extensive are these settings?
Trivial to you, certainly! You have a demo release date and everything, imagine that. Not so trivial to me. I'm really excited for the game and I desperately want to believe they're not going to screw up yet again on PS3, or screw us over by passing us over for a demo one more time. And so far they can't even throw us a bone and let us know when it'll be on the way, or even if it's coming at all.
If the tables had been turned for all this time you'd be pretty damn frustrated with Capcom as well. I'm sure once the demo's out this thread'll be full of gameplay discussion, so don't you worry your pretty little head about being inconvenienced too much longer! All these nasty whining posts that upset you so much will get swept away while we go wait elsewhere for Capcom to brush a few crumbs in our direction.
WOW. You poor thing. Your entire world is crashing down on you over a DEMO?. If you're so mad at Capcom guys, then don't use thier forums. Simple.
Could you please stop capping attitudes with people? We don't want fights anymore. And just because you said that, now he's probably going to answer back. Great!
I'm not trying to cop an attitude. If I come across as such it was not done on purpose. I'd like to know more about the bot system Capcom is implementing as well. Also, is there a particular reason behind the choice to exclude splitscreen from the demo, or was it just to cause more excitement for the real game?

Get off it. There's no reason to try to insult people. This is a discussion that is absolutely relevant to Capcom. No one's life is ending over this, that's as plain as can be. If what's going on doesn't bug you, good for you! Have a blast. Knock yourself out with the demo this week. Those of us who can't for no good reason are going to continue to voice our concerns.
Fact of the matter is that businesses like Capcom are dependent on their consumers, and they've been making business decisions that continue to alienate a pretty large group of those consumers. Maybe if you considered actually reading posts before replying you'd realize that the reason I'm angry at them is because I do like their games. A lot. And I want to support them, but there's no way I can continue to do so when they're in the habit of making their PS3-using customers feel like suckers. I can't think of another third party "multiplatform" developer that does this with such consistency. It's an issue because there are two upcoming Capcom titles that I'm considering buying a second time just to support their localization, and I don't know if I can do it in good conscience when they continue to act like their PS3 customers don't matter.
Spare me the "if you don't like it well maybe you should get lost!" bull. One thing about Capcom that still stands out is the fact that they pay close attention to their fan community here. We're not complaining here because we like to see our own posts. We're trying to affect change in the future.
Capcom is a company that's always been good to their fans over the years. That's why it bothers me so much to see them do what they've done lately. The 360 fanbase constantly gets updates, they always know what's going on. The PS3 users are always left in the dark. They're a company that inspires insane loyalty in their fans. No one here wants to be upset at them, but they're not making it easy. I just wish they'd keep that in mind and stop abusing our good will by underdelivering and expecting us to buy it anyway.

Grow the hell up. Why does some brat always have to start trying to insult people? This is a discussion that is absolutely relevant to Capcom. It's cool, it's done. I think everyone has made their point of view clear by now. Still not holding my breath for good news though.
If no light is shed on the situation at Games con, then there's a good chance it could be covered at Tokyo Games Show. There's also PAX, which Capcom will be exhibiting at as well.
