I use "Cruise" myself...*sigh*
So do I! I hope all control modes comes back. The video is now on gametrailers.com. The RE5 producer said that they listened to what gamers wanted from the game, and the video is the reply to those questions. Really? I don't remember being asked. Did you only ask Japanese players?? :(
Where do you think all the feed back posted on these forums goes?
We read everything you post here, and try to make sure our fan base is happy. I know, since I personally am one of the biggest Lost Planet fans out there. We're listening.

I thought that jumping a grappling would have been good in the first game but if it would have prevented the game from looking or working as good as it does, I'd rather go without it. Instead, i would like to see different functions for the grappling hook, like using it to pick up weapons and to attack or grab people.

Oh, well had I known you communicated everything to HQ in Japan I would have voiced my suggestions, though a "suggestion for sequel" thread might be more productive :P . Oh, well. I hope there's more varied and funny taunts for when you kill members of the other team :)
Blackjack, I agree on that it would be cool to grab people with the hook, but it may become too trouble to deal with. Imagine you get thrown a bunch of grenades and you are in the stunned animation for a long time and then you get grabbed from afar. A bit irritating.

well if they keep it to where you can't kill someone while they're in the animation then you shouldn't be able to grapple either. But to be honest, i home they don't have the invincibility during animations thing. What is this bounding-box aiming that people are talking about.

It's where the aiming target moves but the screen does not, I don't like it. But some people do.

1 . Co-op looks insanely epic ( when the guy built a shield , I S#@t a brick ! ) 2 . The graphics look amazing . 3 . I still have to beat Lost Planet ( sadly , SFIV wont let me play anything else ) I'm it's slave for like the next few years of my life . 4 . Thank You , Capcom .

well i come home from a boring day at school and see a lost planet 2 section. im like ok cool maybe theres an lp2 now. i watched the video and it looks great. i hope the graphics are that good too. lots of different things in there and i hope that they don't change much of the mechanics from the first game. as people have said about t eng regenrating in online mode im not for that or for being able to grapple in mid air. people could just grapple around everywhere and keep shooting and they would be hard to kill unless you got a homing weapon. keep most of it the same. another thing is im guessing theres no info out on what consoles it will be on? it will be on 360 since they released the video there but what about pc and ps3? im not gonna buy another 360 so i hope it comes out on there. if so i would most likely buy it for both pc and ps3. can't wait till i see more info on it but is there anything somewhat ideal about the release? like would it even be released this year?

What I notice was that the graphics ahve improve a bit, when you fire the guns it sounds more real, and the co-op play.I think that wayne is not going to be back this time around which is a shame. But the storyline might tell us why that is.Also I hope that they include more than just preety graphics and sound.Co-op can't be the only thing that is new there has to be more.Overall...It was a decent trailer.

yea the graphics and sound are a lot better but who knows if thats actually how it will be. how many times have we seen game videos and then get dispointed when the full version is released? the trailer seems like it was made to show the differences in lost planet 2 from lost planet 1. it wasn't a great trailer for a new game but it shows us the changes that they have made since we already know all the other basics. also im curious as to when this time period is. how much farther is it after the end of the first game?

Well, it certainly looks like the story mode will be a lot more fun. But honestly, that's not what I'm looking forward to at all. Am I the only one sceptical? I mean, Colonies was the product of focus groups of PC first-person shooter gamers, and that took backwards steps from the amazingly unique multiplayer experience that LP:EC was. Easier. More one-hit kills (like EC didn't have enough?!). Running around in circles instead of advancing frontlines... There were great additions like Akrid Hunter mode and the like, but the switch in the core gameplay to make it more kid-friendly with more 'instant action', easier to kill VS's (to the point of them just making you an easy to hit target like every other shooter), and too many high-powered weapons made it feel like a third-person Halo more than an expansion to Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. And we all know what respect the Halo name garners with anyone above the age of 12. No, I'm not going to be sent into a fervour by this until I see how multiplayer plays.
Children should be seen and not heard.
