i have worked that out on my own after repeated pixel errors and bought a ATI RADEON X1650 pro. my comp is like a dream machine now. and yes the game runs whoot =)

ya i had a x850xl and i had to buy a x1650xt to play this. ill be getting at least 2 hd3870s soon, wonder how good that will be.

for anyone wanting to compare I run the following:
HD3850 256
X2 4000 (@2488)
2Gb RAM
XP
I run the game at 16x12 with 8xAF and 4xAA, HQ in ATT and High for most options in game, I get 50-60fps and perhaps a drop to 30FPs when its particularly hectic.
Definitely looks sweet and the full version runs sweeter than the demo did.

Hi, there. I just recently bought LPEC game and just figured out that my graphics card is not supported for Pixel Shader 3.0. And on the list you only have 3 supported ATI cards. I was wondering do the ATI Raedon HD 2000 Series work on this game? I've found one at Walmart for about $65 and it says it supports Pixel Shader 4.0 so it should work right? But here's my Computer Specs... Windows XP AMD Anthlon 3600+ 2.00 GHZ Dual Core 1.25GB RAM DDR2 Current One (ATI Radeon XPress 1150) So would I be able to run the game good if I got one of those cards? ya the cards on the list are the cards that capcom has tested themselves and it works. there are tons of cards not on there that work too. the card you picked should work though.

your video card is too old you need to get a new one that has pixel shader 3.0.

ehhhh intel graphics aren't great. how about you try downloading the demo and see if it works. also do you have gpu and gpu vram clocks for the graphics? or if you have already opened lost planet why not just pop it in and see?
