The following is a list of video cards that our R&D labs have tested in conjunction with NVIDIA and ATI, and have been confirmed to work. If your card is not on this list, we will still try to provide support and help as much as we can, but there will be no guarantees that they will work. More cards will be added to this list as we finish testing. Well I have dual X1900XT ATI cards in a Crossfire configuration and your demo will not work on my system!

I got an nvidia geforce 7300 gt 512 mb on a windows vista pc with 2 GB of ram With an intel core 2 duo processor each one is 1.8 GHz with directx 10 i download the demo and it didnt work it said something about an error after just double clicking the shortcut it didnt even start running. Why the demo didnt work? I have the nvidia video card with enough Mb to run it, i got the direct x10 windowas vista? what is wrong with my pc?? please help, and thanks in advance to everyone. The menu screen lags so unbelievably bad that it takes forever to get into any of the selections. Anyone else having this problem? I purchased the game from Steam. Here are my specs:
Intel Core 2 E6300
Radeon 2900xt (6.7 cat)
4 gig of ram
Windows XP 32 bit

The nvidia 7300 is NOT a DirectX 10 card. You have to run the DirectX 9 version of the game.

Please see my note about the R600 and ATI's drivers. Until ATI optimizes them, you may experience slow-downs, crashes and general incompatibilities. I will check on the date the optimized versions are supposed to be released (I was told "last night", but then didn't hear anything more on it).

Well ill start downloading the directx9 version 9 now and see how it runs, thanks to lost and pc dania for the help. I didnt know that my video card didnt support directx10, but hey if i can still play the game it is no problem at all. I'll upgrade to a directx10 video card like in a year from now, at least thats my plan, until now i'll keep playing directx9 video games. P.S. sorry for my rookie question, but i didnt knew that about my video card. So thanks have a nice day and happy gaming.

Aidan, there's a hotfix for some ATI cards (mostly 2x00 series and vista particularly) though I'm not sure if it'll work on your 1900s (also multi-gpu support isn't really there on the demo). There's a new driver revision coming for Catalyst across the board shortly that will likely address most ATI shader 3.0 cards.

Does the Hotfix only works for XP? I have a ATI 9600 RADEON....
