Hey - I hope this is the right section of the boards to be asking this (that is, I hope the Technical Support section isn't just limited to the PC version, as that's all the topics in here appear to be about.)

This was an issue I had occasionally when the game was first released, but I could still connect to matches half of the time.  Now I can't connect to any matches at all.

I join a room, and for about 10 seconds everything seems fine - I can hear the other players through the headset even.  10 seconds later, the message "The match host has cancelled the mission.  Returning to lobby." appears, and I get booted.  Even when the host begins the countdown and I'm on the team-select screen, my gamertag will mysteriously dissapear from the list of players 10 seconds after I joined, and after the "READY... GO!," it'll immediately say "Failed to initialize."

I have a pretty strong connection (bandwidthplace.com's speed test says around 2.8 Mbits/sec), so I doubt a poor connection quality is the issue.  Is there anything I can do to rectify this issue?

I've been having that problem I hear there is an update headed our way for the connection problems. I've also been reading other posts and appearently it's my internet settings or something (I don't know the technical terms) that are causing this to happen. If that were true I guess I wouldn't be able to play Gears of War or any other of my online games but that's not the case. I really hope Capcom send the update soon because it's gotten so bad for me that I can't play LP online anymore period. Please Capcom send an update soon!:(
