Whenever i have a machine gun i aways fire atleast 300 hundred shots into the enemy and they dont die. then they shoot ten times and im dead. it makes me soooo mad!!!!:mad:

Either it's a REALLY bad lagger (not common) or you just aren't hitting them. It takes 17 shots to kill...but 7 to the head.

its usaully a lagger becuz ill shoot at them then they dissapear

Usually takes 1-2 clips to take someone out depending on how good your aim is [With a machine gun]. Aim for the upper torso so you can get some shots in the head while still keeping high accuracy.
Also remember that your gun has a kick so it keeps rising a lil when you shoot, so keep pulling down slightly.

ya thats pretty much it. really if you are having this problem with everyone then it is your playing style. after you play for awhile you usualy learn things and can become better at killing people faster. i doubt its a bug but sometimes if you get shots on people and they are in bad locations then it won't affect them as much. just like shadow said aim at the upper torso and whenever they become stunned from the machine gun fire aim towards the head and you should be able to take them out easy with only one clip.
