Game looks beautiful.  A few notes on the demo:

1. Make sure you download the correct version for your computer. If you’re on Windows Vista, you will need the DirectX 10 version. For XP users, grab the DirectX 9 version of Lost Planet PC.

2. Speaking of DirectX, make sure you have the latest version. The easy way to do that is to start Internet Explorer, go to Tools and select Windows Update. It should automatically detect and let you know if you have the latest version of not. Alternatively, for DirectX 9, you can go here and download the latest version manually.

3. Lost Planet PC requires a Shader 3.0 compatible video card. For NVIDIA, these are any card from the 6, 7, or 8 series. For ATI/AMD, make sure you have an X1×00+ card or later.

4. Make sure you have the latest drivers, especially video drivers. For NVIDIA cards, head on over to www.nvidia.com, and for ATI/AMD, it’s www.ati.com.

If you’re still encountering problems, please post in our Technical Support forum and let us know.

xo,
Seth

The demo is great , i can play first mission with all settings on high only shadows and shadow resolution medium, with 8xAF and 1280x800. The graphics is great and the action, gameplay and controls are perfect  :)
