Yea, it would be nice to see one just before game's release next month so windows users can get a taste of the gaming online, see how well it performs, etc.
What I'd love to see is cross-platform, but I highly doubt it's possible if the version was modified deeply.

We did that on the 360 and it worked well. Unfortuntately our development schedule isn't going to allow for that on the PC. :(

Ah, what a shame, regardless, great demo! Absolutely stunning for a port :).
What I'd really like to know is if we'll see other resolutions supported, most monitors run one of the 3 configurations
1280x1024(5:4) 1400x900(16:10) 1650x1080(16:10)

Thanks for the feedback. The team in Osaka worked very, very hard on this project and it was a lot of new ground for them to cover technically so we're pleased with the early feedback we're seeing (directx issues and driver issues aside which are addressable). Other resolution support is stuff I could see us adding via a patch if there's a demand for them. Keep the suggestions coming and I'm sure we'll compile a list of things to speak to the team about.

Major props on the community involvement, Sven. I, too, would like to see support for a wider range of resolutions. In fact, that's the only real criticism I have so far. One thing I'd like to point out: the Matrox TripleHead2Go device - which has become quite popular around the Atari office - allows for super-wide resolutions like 3840x1024 (stretched across three 1280x1024 displays). That's roughly the same pixel count as the 2560x1600 resolution that nVidia touts for Lost Planet on the PC. I think it would be great if Lost Planet supported resolutions like this in the future. It would certainly enhance the slick image the game has going right now...
Just my two cents...
