I didnt get the laser cel and that made me jealous. so i made my own that i could print out. the one you see below is a smaller, low resolution file... but at the very bottom is a link to the awesome of awesomes.  Click here for Full High Resolution, The way it was meant to be seen :DI did the Undeep because its my favorite level of the game. When i played that mission, i had no idea what was coming. I mean, I knew there were giant worms in the game, but i thought that would be later on in the game. So at the start of the mission I saw how vast the snow plains were, and I saw an EVAC next to me, so i got in it and sped across the landscape snowmobile style, when out of nowhere snow flies up, I feel the controller shake and my subs rumble and I go flying out of my VS into a snow dune. When i stood up i saw the VS in a heap, completely trashed, and it detonated a moment after. But around me i saw nothing but open snow. I was like "what the heck...?" and then i saw the Undeep emerge from the ground knocking me 30 feet backwards, then i go, "oh crap...." i did my best to fend him off, but all i had was the machine gun. he finally went back into the ground, only to emerge with his tail in the air spouting molten projectiles hundreds of feet in the air. it was like being in a movie. i spent the next 40 mins using rockets and anything else i could find to kill him. its still my favorite level to play over and over again. :D let me know what you think and if its any good.

That's an awesome pic. How'd you get that? Too bad you didn't have a Hardballer then.

i will play extreme after i get my white nevec suit for online. and i bet it will take me hours and hours... but i will finish it and love it :D

here's what my print looks like. i'll be putting it in a black matte board frame soon. before i cut it out  after i cut it out  it looks blurry cuz i took the pictures with my phone, but it looks even better in print :D the finished size is 15 x 7.5 inches i also changed the size of the japanese text so it wont be in the way of the matte board when i have it cut.

i forgot to write that the electronic press i used to print it, out puts at 1200dpi. the quality is amazing. the ink it uses is powder, and applied with a laser to the 100lb cover weight paper i used. the print itself looks even better than the quality in the artbook that came with the collectors edition. even tho i dont get paid much, my job has its quirks :D

So I mean, HOW did you make the pic? Was it art you found from somewhere or can you draw that well? That looks awesome, especially with the little white japanese text at the bottom right corner. If you did draw that by hand, I'd have to say I'm extremely envious because I can draw but not like that. I think I'm gonna put my Deviant Art account link in my signature here so people can check my stuff out because I may need to make some Lost Planet fan art. I only have two pics up in my gallery as of right now and one crappy animation I did. If you laugh at my animation I'll understand. I'm still upset that I spent days trying to get 4 seconds of animation and redrawing Sephiroth 80 times. 24 fps is a *****. I'll get better someday and actually get my anime up on Newgrounds.com one day. Story and characters are still in the works, however...:(

i like your art, even tho its only 2 pics :)
and no i didnt draw it. i could draw that, but it would take days and days for me, even though i do it all the time but on a much smaller scale, since its my job. but no, i used the adobe creative suite(the computer part, and easy part of my job :D ) to make that, mostly illustrator and photoshop. the undeep photo is the same one from the artbook just high res, and the VS is from a screen shot i found, i just played with each picture for about 4 hours til i got the final result.
