It varies depending on the size of the map with me. If it is a map like Canyon 1337 (or whatever it is) then I would use the transforming mini mech as it is quick and is quite useful with the missile launcher. But if it is a map like Pirate Fortress, I would use my feet as mech's usually get shot down pretty easily (for me,anyway). I am going to say feet however because most of the maps I play on are usually small maps, plus I play Post Grab and your not going to grab posts sat in a mech now are ya. ;)

actually i use my feet also, and in big maps will use a mech, though sometimes I'll use one just to change up the game a bit, also I use mechs in post grab to block the post's from enemy fire :D

Depends on the map. But I preffer being on foot. I usually get in an EVAX for big maps just to get from point to point, then get out and fight on foot. I roll alot, since that's faster than walking, but it draws alot of attention.

I roll alot, since that's faster than walking, but it draws alot of attention. I think that its the same speed to roll or walk. Grappling is the only way to travel;), now if I could do it over and over and while jumping!:D

I think that its the same speed to roll or walk. Actually, out of all seriousness, rolling is slightly faster than a walk/run.
Grappling is the only way to travel;) l, now if I could do it over and over and while jumping!:D Yea, grappling is the fastest non-VS way to travel. That's why I usually combine rolling and grappling to get the most speed out of my character.
If I could grapple while jumping... I would need Capcom to give us new character models; Batman, and Spiderman.

While rolling you're going faster but when you stop you lose the time you just gained. It's a short distance speed boost. Though if you do it in the right places you can make it take you further with one time. That aside...
I don't like to be big and obvious so I stay out of the mechs unless it's the little speeder ones (i don't know them by name and have no idea how any of you do). Sometimes it is fun to toss it up a little bit with a mech but it's usually short lived. I like fighting them though :)

While rolling you're going faster but when you stop you lose the time you just gained. It's a short distance speed boost. If two people are going to the same location side by side, one running, the other rolling, the one rolling will get there faster. I don't know why you guys don't believe me. Try it for yourselves then, I do it all the time on bigger maps.
(i don't know them by name and have no idea how any of you do) • Hardballer (PTX-140)• Cakti (GAB-25M) • Drio (GTF-11) • Nida (GTT-01) • Faze (GTB-22) • Turntable (GTN-A01) aka; Gun Battery / Turret • Evax (GTF-13M) • Vensa (GTF-13F) Same as Evax but without the ability to transform. Sometimes called the Female Evax.

The only reason I hop in a VS is to keep the other team from doing so. They can be fun now and again, but are just too lumbering and big to achieve that great sense of movement on-foot action provides.

Played with Tolstoy and a few others a couple of Days ago, we were on Canyon and got the hardballers, set them up with double shotties (mine) and double gattlings (tolstoy's) took the other mechs out real quick, also made great time on travel acroos the map... I may start using the mechs a bit more:D
