I doubt NEVEC would stand for a company that already exists... afterall, this game makes NEVEC Comapny look bad anyway lol So i think it stands for something else.
Even if it does stand for Neovenus, it doesnt necessarily have to mean they're on Venus or anything. Take Umbrella Corp for example (Resident Evil), they deal with bio matter and expirements.
I doubt Venus will ice cold either, being second to the sun and all. Ouchy, somethings cooking.

Nevec Does stand for NeoVenus Construction. if you do a google search for it you will find a link to the webpage i refered to about, but if you look closely at this page you will see it IS not a real company but a dummy website set up for an ARG or ALTERNATE REALITY GAME.
